Yep!Gondola capacity will be much, much higher than the buses.

That entire area will be reconfigured. New team drop off, etc.what about the existening bus loop?
Depends on what you want to do. The boat will drop off closer to the entrance but the walk still very well could be quicker. So we are staying at BWV for the first time in December. Will it now be quicker to take the boats or is the walk really not that much longer and still the better option?

About 8-10 per car. But they will be going through the stations significantly more frequently than buses do. Someone in the gondola thread calculated it all out and figured that the gondola capacity would equal out to a full bus leaving each stop every few minutes. When it's more like every 20 minutes on average for buses.Really? I thought only like 6 people per car was what I'd heard.

Well to each their own, but it won't be very high up at all, estimates are about 20 feet. And I'd easily trust a gondola system, which are incredibly safe, over a bus that is on the road with other drivers. I don't have a source, but I'd be willing to bet all my money that the likelihood of getting into an accident on a bus is infinitely more likely than falling off a gondola. Considering the last death on an enclosed gondola in North America was over 40 years ago.Interesting. Not sure I want to be up that high above the ground with that much weight. Guess that will eliminate the Gondola resorts from my list.

There won’t be any weight issues. These systems are used in major tourist/city destinations all the time. Check out Lift Blog.Interesting. Not sure I want to be up that high above the ground with that much weight. Guess that will eliminate the Gondola resorts from my list.

I was watching another vlogger yesterday at CB and he showed some of the gondola towers. They were easily 60 to 80 feet off the ground. He commented that it will be interesting to see what they do with the afternoon lightning storms and sometimes high winds. They will likely be closed as often as the boats in the summer.

This whole thing has “OOPS!” written all over it.And my recollection is that they will not be air conditioned.
Correct, gondolas are rarely air conditioned. And my recollection is that they will not be air conditioned.
