I said it wasn't there at the time we booked our flight and that is clearly is NOW.

*sigh* people are commenting without even reading my words. It is like dealing with my five year old who only hears the words she wants to hear.

Sigh. Do you really need AirTran to specifically tell you that purchasing seats is a "good idea" for those who want to sit together.

Use some common sense and take some self responsibility for the issues at hand. If its that important to sit by your daughter then pay for the seat and regularly check the seat assignment to ensure nothing has changed. It's really not that difficult.

In any case...this is getting ridiculous. No, there is no pixie dust here. Why? Because it builds up false expectations. There are no certainties when it comes to flying. Most of the time you will get the previously chosen seats. I have never, not once, not gotten the seat I originally chose. After flying AirTran last week, I didn't see anyone not getting their chosen seat.

So...enough. This thread is done. I'm getting tired of hearing about meanies and nastiness here. Just because some don't get the info needed they call those who are well-informed 'meanies' or 'nasty'. That isn't the case. So, this thread is done.
