Hey everyone! I'm Keshia, my fiance is Titus, and I have a 4 year old daughter from a previous relationship. I live in Oklahoma City.

I have always loved everything Disney, so much that Titus and I are planning our honeymoon there for the first week of Jan. 09! We are getting married on Dec. 27th but have heard that the week of Christmas-New Year's is the worst time to go...is this true?

ETA: I forgot to mention that I have been to WDW once before when I was young and my fiance has never been!

WELCOME!! DW and I honeymooned at WDW... it was wonderful. I too have heard that about that particular week, but have never been that week either, so I can't speak from experience.

Welcome! I've heard the same thing about Christmas week but I've never been at that time myself. WDW is a wonderful place to go for a honeymoon! DH & I did that and it was so romantic! :
You may want to look at using some type of touring plan when you go in order to maximize your time in the parks. There are some really nice things to do outside the parks as well. They have couple's massages at the Grand Floridian and Saratoga Springs spas and carriage rides at Port Orleans. I hope you have a wonderful trip!

to the boards! Congrats on the upcoming marriage! We haven't been during Christmas week (planning for 2010--yeah, sickos we know), it is the busies time of the year, but the way we looked at it was 'how great it would be to spend CHristmas @ 'the happiest place on earth'

We were there this past year from Dec. 26th thru Jan. 5. Yes it is a VERY busy time of year. Just know that it is crowded and enjoy. There are sooooo many wonderful things to see and do at that time of year. Have a great time!!

WELCOME!! WE WERE THERE DECEMBER 04 FROM THE 12TH TO THE 27TH. WE HAD A TWO BEDROOM AT OKW. WE BROUGHT A 6 FOOT TREE WITH US AND DECORATED THE ROOM. ITS WAS FUN! BUT WILL NEVER DO IT AGAIN. FROM THE 25TH ON, THE PARKS WERE SO FULL, THEY CLOSED THEM FOR A WHILE. JAN IS A GREAT TIME TO GO!MAKE SURE YOU PACK FOR COOLER WEATHER. CONGRATS!! WE HAVE 23 GREAT YEARS IN AND WE SPENT OUR HM THERE AS WELL.HAVE A GREAT TIME!
