Ok, I admit it I have been lurking here for about a month now. I just finally registered. You guys use so many abbreviations that sometimes I think that I am in a foriegn language board!!! I think I've figured out some
EMH-extra magic hours
MYW- Magic your way

And that is about as far as I get. LOL. I do have a ? what is PS.

By the way we leave on the 5th of May. WHOO HOOO. Does that mean I can do a banana dance??? Cause I just love that little guy. I also love this one :rotfl2: cracks me up!!

Priority seatings

Welcome to the boards!
I sometimes wish folks would at least type out a few things instead of using 2&3 letters for most of the descriptions.
But then again I am not overly fond of the Instant Messaging jargon....
"gr8t 2 C U"
But you will soon get to know all the terms quite well.
Congratulations on your upcoming trip!

PS stands for Priority Seating for the restaurants. Sort of like a reservation. You get a PS for a specific time. You show up at that time and then you get seated when they have your table size available. Usually the wait is not too long. Sometimes it can be a little bit of a wait. Sometimes during the busy times it is very hard to get into the popular restaurants if you don't have a PS. I would highly recommend getting a PS for any place you plan on eating at that takes the PS. :flower:

Check out the abbreviation board listed on the main page-I had to keep it on the task bar for the 1st week or so-helps a lot-Oh and Welcome aboard as an official user :flower:

Thanks for the abbr. page. I printed it out so I could have it close by. It will make it easier to read the posts. :teeth:

Welcome to the DIS! Glad you came out of "lurkdom" and said hi! :wave2:

Hi. Just wanted to say "welcome". Don't worry about the abbreviations, it takes a little while to get them all down. I love the little banana guy too!!

Welcome! I've had a hard time with the abbreviations too, and I've been on the DIS since January! I'm just proud of myself 'cause I finally figured out that SAB means Stormalong Bay...that one was driving me nuts! :rotfl:

Welcome, hope you don't become addicted as much as I am........

happy planning

STITCH!!! Que pasa? WELCOME TO THE BOARD!!

I was laughing when I read your original post because I felt the same way when I joined the board last year. I am glad to know that I am not the only one who had problems figuring stuff out. Anyhoo, my first adult trip was with my husband last year and this board really saved us. We had no idea what we were getting into. Disney...ORLANDO has changed so much since I had been to Disney as a child. Read, read and READ the posts. The information in them is soooo valuable.

 DOIN MY LESS THAN 30 DAYS DANCE!!
