Regarding the brand new Haunted Mansion queue, is the handicapped entrance the same, or do us handicappers go through this new queue??

I dunno about WDW's new line, but in DL we go through the stretching room. They just put us in last so no one trips over me coming in and then I wait for the room to empty before I go out. Then I get to ride the stretching room back up! (it's an elevator in DL)
you can now go through the regular line, through the stretching room and they have a "hallway" of sorts that will bring either u (if u can't walk through the short line inside) or your chair/scooter to the exit ramp.

Thanks for the report. We did it today! When I showed the GAC they initially tried to steer us to the alternate entrance (exit route), but we had friends with us, too many for the GAC (plus I wanted to try the queue) so I asked if we could keep the stroller in the queue instead. The new queue was farther down than I thought it was, but people were choosing which route they preferred. I thought it was fun and the kids in our group loved it, but DS was not able to reach much from his stroller, so he got frustrated.
As we entered the stretching room they asked us to stay to the right and hang back until it was filled. Then a CM used a flashlight to guide us to a spot, and they told our party to wait and they would help us get out. When we were leaving they asked if we could carry DS and transfer now or if we needed to go through the exit. We opted to hold him (bad choice, since the ride stopped for quite a while and DS got anxious waiting and pinched my arms quite a bit!) but it generally worked out ok. Otherwise they would have brought us to the exit.
Hope that helps! I did get confused when the stroller was outside on the exit and not inside, but other than that it worked well.
I have seen pictures and they did take the turnstiles out. This probably sounds like a dumb question but are they definitely getting rid of the turnstiles at HM with this new queue?
I hated those things! As a "pooh-sized" person I found that this was the tightest spot in all of WDW. I could fit through if I angled just right but one time I thought I was going to be stuck and it was really embarrassing!
I hope that they took these out. I find WDW to be very friendly to all shapes and sizes and easy to navigate but this was previously one of their problem spots.
