I truly don't understand why they aren't ramping up production on these when people are so eager to buy them!!! I can imagine that production takes a while, but you'd think with a client like Disney that D&B would hit the gas when the demand is so high. If bags are selling out within minutes of store openings, surely they must have some idea. Granted demand may seem sky high when I'm looking at a post about it on these boards, but it must speak volumes that they can't keep them on shelves.

I wonder when they're actually due to be widely released. Or if they'll be produced in other styles.

I mentioned about the purse to DH last night, and he said something to the effect would I like to have that be my gift from Santa this year. I explained to him that it seems it really will have to come from Santa, since Dooney and Disney apparently aren't delivering. It does seem like a big missed opportunity.

So I called Disney Merchandise Services last week and I was told the shipment on December 5th was the last shipment of the bags to the parks. The Online store is still waiting for theirs but if you still desperately want that bag I would start looking into eBay..... I was also told by the cast member that supposedly next year they will be coming out with 2 new bags with the same print but who knows what size or style.

I just got mine too! I just happened to be awake, I'm sick with the flu, and I was checking the website and there it was. I jumped out of bed to get the credit card and hurried to check out before it disappears. When I climbed back in bed all DH said was "let me guess, your purse was available" I just laughed and said YES FINALLY! A tip for those who are looking for it. It only shows up on the full site, not the mobile and it only shows if you search for the item number 7501055880089P At least for me I couldn't find it any other way. Happy shopping!

After checking the website at all hours of the day and night since mid-September, I finally got one!

When I checked about 2:15 AM (EST), it wasn't there...but it was at 7:00!


While I was checking out, DH tried to get an extra one to pass on to someone here (at cost...no profit, just to be nice) but they were all gone.

Yep - another failed attempt. All gone. When I called she said it looked there was a couple available but we'd need to hurry and place order over phone. By the time she entered my email and confirmed my address and tried to grab it they were gone.

Me, too. At this point, I'm hoping maybe next year they'll make some items in smaller options, since I was concerned this would be too large for my frame, anyway. Or, I'll just stick with Coach.

This makes me sad that I missed it too. I suppose I should check everyday when I get up for work. My fiancee wanted to get me one for Christmas but I told him the situation that is almost impossible to get one.

Are Dooney's hand made or something? if they are just coming off some assembly line I don't understand why they aren't making more. They probably have such a high markup.

Also, I tried to get these LE vinylmations on Fri and I noticed that they weren't even on the website so they must have sold out and took the listing down. I see the listing for the HM bag, so maybe they are planning to get more in and the first shipment is out. who knows.

I've pretty much given up at this point. With 2 small kids and a full time job, I just can't make it a priority to check the web site in the wee hours of the morning - every morning. I'd also be interested to know why there aren't larger quantities being sold. The eBay resellers are the ones winning out in this situation ( and I refuse to pay those out of control prices) . Aren't the actual purses pricey enough? . Hope I luck out one day!

I know exactly how you feel. There is too much else going on in my life for me to remember to check daily. It was just blind luck. I must have been checking the site at some point, because the browser was open to the page. When I opened safari on my iPad, the page refreshed. I almost thought I was imagining the "add to cart" button. They must get in five at a time. Disney wants to increase profits, they should sell more of these bags.

Well, I have been checking multiple times daily, but luck hasn't been with me. I did send a disappointed/annoyed message via their contact page to remind them there is plenty of interest in these bags, and at the moment, the only ones really profiting are the re-sellers on Ebay. I know Disney hates that market, so maybe the idea of sticking it to those folks will help motivate a production increase.

(BTW, I am happy for those of you who have been able to purchase the bag. I just wish there could be more of us!)

Nooo! I was up at 5 this morning making my 180 day ADRS and didn't check- last time I did check was 12:30 am before I went to bed!

Tbh, I'm not the biggest fan of large bags, but I love the print. Maybe it's a sign I should just save my money until the release more styles? (I'd die for a backpack!)

I also left a message to them on their facebook page, and even though they seem to respond to everyone else's posts, they never bothered to comment on mine. Maybe more people should try posting on facebook?

My husband gave up last week ago and bought it for me for Christmas on ***************** it was marked up but at least I have it. And it's gorgeous!

I keep telling myself that although I love the bag, the lining SHOULD be purple, and until they make it with purple lining, I won't buy one. That's not weird, is it? It places the blame on them for making an inferior bag, right? I mean, come on, RED lining? Really?
On another note, I was able to get a backpack in the Vera Bradley blue mickey pattern, and I LOVE IT, so it's not like I don't have a disney bag to use.

DW really wanted one, but she's now had time to think about it and she has decided it's too big. Maybe there will be some different sizes with the print in the new year. And yeah, a purple lining would be nice.
