Came home with a new hair cut tonite. I think it looks nice. DH doesnt say 1 word. That drives me insane.

Oh, it happens to me too and when I ask my husband if he recognizes anything different about me, he gives me a weird look and looks away  .

I get a new doooooooo and I say.......well what do you think......do you like it ......and he says......"DO YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU" now that keeps him out of hot water.....but after 37 years of marriage.....you think he could just once say.......hey nice doooooo

I used to get that... I would start to remind him that I'd be home late due to a hair cut and that helped a little ;)

Or I could do what I did last night and chop about 8-10 inches off... he noticed that one for sure :p

Well, you can have my DH...he told me I looked like SpongeBob SquarePants after my last haircut.

:scared1:

Wilgus never says anything but he gives me a "look" when he doesn't like it :teeth:

Once I had my hair highlighted eyebrows waxed and my husband didn't notice a thing. makes me feel loved.

I just *drastically* changed my hair after something like 10 years, and I got "it's fine." I was looking for just a little more than that.

I cut my hair off a few years ago. A drastic change. I had never really had short hair. My DH called me "Frank" for a year cause he said I looked like a boy. He and my father never quit telling me how much they hated it, so I just let it grow back out. I just got tired of hearing them complain about it. I would have settled for no comment.:D

Well my husband just said to me yesterday, "isn't it time for you to get a haircut"? What!!! I said, "why, are you telling me it looks bad"? And he's like, no, no, I just know you usually like it shorter. I don't know what's up with that, made me feel like I was having a bad hair day, and I started off thinking it looked pretty good. If I had cut it he wouldn't have even noticed. Go figure?

LOL! I can sympathize.

On the other hand, my DH gets a haircut--the same haircut--every 10 days or so (he's military) and nearly every time, if I don't say something about it, he says something like, "Didn't you notice I got a haircut today, honey?" I always tell him it looks great, which it does--but I don't tell him it looks EXACTLY like it did before! :)

As a DH, let me explain something. It is just not part of most men to comment on these types of things. It is nothing against anyone, but it is not as important to us. It is one of the things that make men different from women. Accept that. DW is always fussing about her hair. She knows I prefer it long, but she doesn't want the hassle. I tell her it doesn't matter and then she feels hurt that I do not care. I do not love her for her hair. If short hair makes her happy, fine. What drives me crazy is that she spends money to get it cut at the hairdresser, then comes home and spends an hour in the bathroom "touching it up". If I say something, she get defensive. Oh well, men will never win. Good luck.
