New Google Maps Overlay

Y'all are goin to think I do not do much other than play on the net all day. I do a lot of research but not near as much on the net as it would appear.

I digress. I was looking at my mapmyrun.com version of the race for a particular mile point i referenced in a post. I wanted to look at the satellite view but noticed a new layer... it is called Open Street. It is a really nice layer to the mapsite and for Disney really brings the marathon course to life.....

Hit the link, then in the upper left corner hit map options then check the Open Street Option. You can then zoom in at various parts of the course.

Oh, I forgot that I plugged in aid station locations. I see that I am off a quater mile on a couple but it will give you an idea of where they are.

That's awesome! Now all we need is the Google Street View cameras to show us the 360 view too.
