New GCH Lobby at the Poly

Tikiman just posted a walk through video of the new lobby at the GCH at the Poly on his FB page. Overall I like the seating, planting, etc, but the water feature leaves me wanting......maybe its not finished?

I've been looking at the pics from various websites. Looks like they simply wanted an elegant seating area - nothing more.

Someone said the Tiki statue is still coming, it will be there before the official opening in for the lobby in March.

I also read that the pool work is expected to be about 6 months behind. Something happened so they now need to re-work the pool itself.

So far, what I've seen in photos, I am underwhelmed by the new lobby. I hope they are not finished or maybe it is far better in person. There just doesn't seem to be any nice focal point. The small structure in the middle looks too small for the size of the lobby.

I love the Poly, so I am holding out hope that it is not finished.
