okay - at a party in grad school a drunken friend of mine called me Rash out of nowhere, and it just stuck. When asked later why, the friend said that he had a friend at home named Rich (my name also) that he also used to call Rash. I never did ask why. That poor guy is probably the one with the skin condition.
