Anyone heard anything about what Group/ tier the new Frozen boat ride in Epcot will fall under? We didn't get to do Soarin' our past trip as it was closed, so its a must do for us in November.... but so will the new Frozen boat ride as we have two young girls. eek!

Probably Tier 1

I don't think there would be any chance of it not being Tier 1.
It will have such a low capacity (based on what we know of it's predecessor.)

What might be in question is if the newly-expanded Soarin' would still be Tier 1
(-or- how long it would stay Tier 1 after the re-opening.)

Stinks b/c we are going for a short trip, so only a half day in Epcot. If both Tier 1, is Soarin' doable without too long of a line if we get there around park open (which we weren't going to do but now I'm thinking we may have to), then try for FP for Frozen ride? My DD did Soarin' at Disneyland for the 1st time when she was tall enough last summer and LOVED it! has never done it at DW and would be so sad not to. Would I need a prepark breakfast do you think just to do Soarin' with no long lines?

I think the 3rd theater will help with moving the line, but we plan to do a pre park breakfast at Garden Grill if it's an option when we go next year.

That's what I was thinking too.. but do you actually eat at say, around 8:15, or would you just book it to get in line at Soarin?

My girls are already pretty much over Frozen, but I must admit, the sneaks of the boat ride I've seen look awesome!! ;)

I definitely want to ride it. We'll be staying at Boardwalk to make more Epcot time. I feel like we skipped a lot on the last trip. At least the A&E meet is one and done for us :D

We would eat. I have heard such good things about character interaction. We missed Pluto, Chip and Dale on our last trip, so it's a good chance to meet them.

Somewhat related to the topic.
I think the FP+ option for the AE meet and greet at MK ends around Memorial Day, have they said when it starts @ EPCOT?

Frozen Ever After and the Royal Summerhaus open in "June".:)

We just ate lunch there in March. The food was "bleh" in our opinions but characters fun. May try breakfast to get in line early for Soarin'. Just so annoying it wasn't open in March then I wouldn't be in this predicament!!! LOL. Was going to Christmas party night before, so wasn't going to get to Epcot early next day but now we may need to UGG..

I think I recall reading something about the Illuminations Dessert Party ending in July - Perhaps it will turn into a Froway Character Dessert Party for a ridiculous cost...

I would count on Test Track, Frozen, Soarin, and Anna & Elsa meet and greet all being tier 1

Except... that would be a kind of major disaster.

Virtually ALL of the most popular attractions at Epcot...
with the ability to only FP ONE of them.

Mission:SPACE is not really sought-after by the preponderance of Epcot guests.
