Tubachick...We just moved out of R.P. last June (2004). Hubby and I bought a house. My parents still live there... Morse/Ravenswood area. I miss it. There is NOTHING to do out here after 10.
What were you doing in Marion if you don't mind me asking. I went to school in C'dale for a couple of years... then finished at Northeastern. My Dad's family lives in that neck of the woods.
We've been around each other for a while then huh??? I went to SIU four years (90-95) and then lived in Marion for 3 years (just doing odd things while I found a real job and went home to chicago-- although I liked life in southern illinois a little better), I grew up near northeastern until I went to college, and when I came home in 95, I started school at NEIU for my fist masters in education!!!! Since 97 I live on Morse btween ravenswood and ridge!!!! it is a small world after all I usually have the mickey/disney flag outside my house next to our American flag. I knew there was a bunch of Diser's from our area, but never knew they were that close!!!!
Hey another Illinois person here.We just took our dd for her very first trip to WDW.She is 5 1/2 and it was the best time of our lives. My advice would be enjoy it.Don't rush to try and do everything you can always go back. And make sure you take picures of yourselves this is one thing we did not do enough of.We took plenty of picures of the parks and views but very few pictures of us.My dh is already planning our next vaction there for 2007 this time we plan to stay 7 nights instead of five.
