I don't know if it is because of the new changes to the FP+ system on the 10th or something else, but FP+ availability seems almost non-existent within about an hour after park opening. In the past, I've had fairly decent success switching FP+ times during the same day in park and even picking up the 4th or more FP+ at kiosks previously in the early afternoon. But after these changes there seems like there is almost nothing available within a very short time after opening in the morning to change times for your pre-booked FP+ (whether in app or at kiosk) or even to get SDFP+.
Plus, I don't like the way the new system shows you the available times. They don't show all available, just some (like the dining reservations). You have to play around with it a bit (refresh, change time parameters, get details, etcetera) to get different times. Just takes a lot longer in my opinion.
