Bout what I expected. Not really interested in the alien swirling. I’ll wait and see how fast slinky dog is.

For now I’ll probably end up getting the toy story mania but we’ll see

I can’t imagine what’s gonna happen when galaxys edge opens.

Have they said yet if there will be a height restriction for Slinky Dog? I'm assuming there will be, so traveling with two almost-2yos in November, we will probably have to choose Toy Story Mania as our Tier 1 FP. That means DH (or I) and DS10 may have to wait in a really long line for Slinky Dog, but then hopefully can do rider switch.

Yay!!!
Funny because I was literally talking to my parents about this over dinner last night lol.
So happy to see RNRC went to tier 2.
My guess is once Star Wars land opens next year TSM may very well go to tier 2 as well.

You could choose the Alien Swirling Saucers too if you want.

When we go in October, I’m hoping to get a FP for SDD and rope drop TSM.

Slinky Dog is 38", Saucers is 32"

Thank you! That's a good strategy as well. We've already done TSM so I suppose it wouldn't be the end of the world if we didn't get to do it, so that may make more sense. But it's also nice to have a ride that we can all do together. Anything "swirling" is not my thing, haha.

Lol me too. I think I’ll send my husband and son on without me!

I am wondering if RNR going to Tier 2 will further increase standby wait times since more people will be able to pre-book it as a FP+.
Probably not in the mornings because most people will be in TSL. There are preset standards for the number of FPs issued for each ride so that won’t change as a Tier 2 Ride. And, the height restriction for RnRC still applies.

More people might want to book it as a FP, but that doesn’t mean the number of FPs available will increase. So the FP line won’t necessarily be any longer than it is now.

Wouldn't the majority still select TSMM for their Tier 1? The standby wait for that attraction is torture. Then again -- it will be air conditioned & the others won't be.....

My FP+ selection will still remain:

Toy Story Midway Mania
Tower of Terror
Star Tours

I've been able to get a same day TSMM on my last 2 or 3 trips since the third track was added. I'll do Slinky Dog for my Tier 1.

Wow - we have never been able to do that. First - I'm always with a group that all need it. Second - we go in July :) We count our blessings that we have the FP.

Now - Tower - we're able to go on that multiple times - with & without fast passes......

Our plans only include 2 days at HS, so it looks like we'll have to RD to get all the Tier 1s done.

We have a ADR for breakfast for my son and me on one of the days so that we can get him signed up for Jedi Academy, so that would be the obvious candidate for a RD, but I'm just not sure I can trust my wife to get there with the other 2 kids in time for RD. :headache:

I haven't really followed too closely since we don't plan to be back at WDW until at least 2020, but isn't Swirling Alien Saucers just a carnival type spin ride that happens to be toy story themed? Is that really going to have Tier 1 levels of demand?
