New fireworks show at MK? Are they getting rid of Wishes?

I sincerely hope not. I realize it's...what, 10 years old now? But I enjoy Wishes quite a bit.

I haven't heard of any changes other than what they're doing back in Fantasyland and that area. It's possible the construction is causing some modification of Wishes. Other than that, Disney does change or eliminate things from time to time. Sometimes that's driven by new ideas and sometimes it's driven by budget cuts. Time will tell.

I'm excited about the new show, we're bored with Wishes we don't even watch it anymore.

and new effects at Hollywood Studios’ Tower of Terror, including a change to the drop sequence.

I thought the drop sequence was randomized. It changes every time.


But as far as the new fireworks show is concerned, I love Wishes!, but it'd be cool to switch it up.

It's only a temporary change for the summer. They're calling it Summer Nightastic?? or something like that. I think they're just trying to be more creative in their marketing. Instead of offering discounts they'll offer something different. I'm sure it will work for some....people who only do a once a year trip in the off season might make a second trip in the summer to see the Electric Light parade...if only for the nostalgia.
