New Firework Show in MK to replace "Wishes"???

Does anyone know if and when the "New" firework is coming??? true or rumor??

I read a lot of rumor sites and i have not heard anything. But i would like to see something different...also would like to see illuminations change but havent heard anything there either.

Summer Nightastic! is beginning on June 6th. They are temporarily replacing SpectroMagic with the Main Street Electrical Parade and Wishes with a new fireworks show.

They are switching the WDW and DL parades and firework shows. Not a rumor.

The Hub is at the far "end" of Main Street.Town Square is at the "beginning" of Main Street.

The "front side" is the side of the Castle facing The Hub.The "back" of the Castle "faces" Fantasyland.

Just curious, will the CM's be in the know on the day of, if they are going to rehearse the "new" shows in Late May?

We are there during the last week in May, so they gotta practice it sometime right

The new Summer Nightastic Fireworks are purported to be a version of the show that used to be performed during Mickey's Pirate and Princess Parties ("Magic and Mayhem".)
I don't know if Tink will still fly, but I wouldn't be surprised to hear that she will be a part of the show.

The Summer Nightastic parade will be the Disney classic, "Main Street Electrical Parade." That parade used to run as MK's "lighted parade" for years, then, it was replaced by the current parade, SpectroMagic.
A version of the upcoming "Electrical Parade" has been running in Anaheim at Disneyland's co-park, Disney's California Adventure.
The floats from that parade are being sent to WDW for use during MK's Summer Nightastic (and some say, it will stay well beyond the Summer, if it proves to be as popular with MK guests as it once was.)

There is a strong possibility that at least the new parade, if not both the new parade and the new fireworks, will not end at the announced August date, but continue on for an indefinite period time (months or years.)

We won't know that until sometime later in the Summer.

Im so excited to see this new fireworks show! If its anything like the Pirate and Princess Party fireworks, then it will be GREAT. We loved those fireworks so much! Very loud, very colorful and just all around good! I sure do hope Tink shows up tho!

I love Wishes, but it does tend to get old. Im anxious to see the new show!
