It's rumored that the circlevision 360 film, O Candada!, will be replaced/updated in August 2007. The attraction at Epcot's Canada Pavilion is scheduled for rehab from 8/20 through 8/24/07. It's rumored that the new film will be installed and tested during this period.

Frankly, I feel Norway is in the biggest need of a new film

No Kidding.

Anyone indicated as a sponser for this new film?

But the Norway film is what, 5 minutes long? And the big part of that pavilion's attraction is the boat ride; lots of people skip that film (myself included).

exactly, they could put a new film in Norway but no one would know its new and skip it anyway!

I hope it's just hockey footage.

There's a movie in Norway?

As a Canadian the flim they were showing was a joke and I felt embarrassed at how Canada was being shown, to guests from other countries. So I would hope that the new film is updated for 21st century and has better footage.

Maybe Tim Hortons will sponsor it and then have a kiosk outside the pavillion so us Cdn's can get our timmy's fix.:rotfl2: :cool1: :rotfl:

how about that canadian bear we get in the Molson commercials, he'd do some great narratives I think :thumbsup2

New details are emerging regarding the update of the "O Canada" film in Epcot's World Showcase. Martin Short will narrate the film with Eva Avila singing the theme song of the film. About one-half of the film will include new footage.

I think the best refurbs are when they simply update - but keep the spirit and themes.. I love the Canada music and would not mind a change if they keep some of the same music.

Now as for Impressions de France, don't touch that baby! It's a priceless work of art.
