After listening to the latest podcast about The New Fantasyland, I just wanted to say that I too was was very impressed by the whole area. The details and theming are perfect. One of my very favorite things about New Fantasyland is the "sounds" coming from the forest. I just love the various birds and other wildlife sounds that are coming from the trees! That simple detail really makes you feel as if you have stepped inside of a real fairy tale book. I can't wait to see this area at night!

I loved that podcast, it made me so excited to see the changes myself! I think the whole area just looks amazing and I really loved Dustin's video of it all :thumbsup2. You are right the sounds are so important and now I'll be looking forward to hearing what you heard also :goodvibes!

Great podcast. Good work, team!
With respect to rating the FLE on the "1-10" scale, I think we really need to wait for the Mine Coaster to open up. When you think about the big "E Ticket" attractions that make the MK so great, you have to concede that as of right now, the FLE did not add such an attraction. The expansion has not given us a Space Mountain, or a Splash Mountain, or a Thunder Mountain, or even a POTC or HM. There is no "wow" attraction like Test Track, Everest, Soarin', ToT or Rockin' Roller Coaster. Right now, there is really neat themeing, great landscaping, a state of the art CS restaurant (that will convert to probably a mediocre TS at night), and one attraction (Little Mermaid) that is essentially the 2012 version of Peter Pan, and another attraction (Belle) that will hold very little interest for children over the age of 12. Right now, the value of these rides seems to lie more in their "new-ness" and not in their "wow-ness". It seems inconceivable to me that WDW would spend all this time and money on a massive expansion without adding a drawing card for teens, especially in light of what Universal did with WWOHP. So hopefully the Mine Coaster will bring this all full circle. But without a major attraction like those mentioned above, the expansion would seem to be a missed opportunity.

This is in no way a slight on your review. You guys did a great job describing what is there.
