New extended hrs for onsite guests?

We saw an article in this past weekend's paper - it orginated from the St. Petersburg Times. The last paragraph in the article reads as follows:

"To keep its hotels full, Disney is expanding a program that gives guests at Disney World hotels access to the parks and rides an hour earlier than the general public. Beginning Jan. 2, on-property hotel guests also can visit the parks for three hours after they have closed to the general public."

Does anybody know of any official info on this? Is it just the return of E-Nights (formerly limited to Magic Kingdom), or is it some new program tied in with the new ticketing structure?

I checked out the site. It shows some parks open early and then nothing in the evening; some open late, then nothing in the morning. Is that how this is going to work? Does anyone have more info? Thanks..

As part of the new "Magic Your Way" plan, beginning January 2, Walt Disney World Resort will be modifying the Extra Magic Hour schedule to include both Morning and Evening "Extra" Hours. Each day one of the Disney Theme Parks opens an hour early or stays open up to an extra three hours, so Guests of Disney Resorts have the opportunity to get extra time in the parks.
Sunday (Evening) - Disney-MGM Studios
Monday (Morning) - Epcot
Tuesday (Morning) - Disney-MGM Studios
Tuesday (Evening) - Animal Kingdom
Wednesday (Evening) - Magic Kingdom
Thursday (Evening) - Epcot
Friday (Morning) - Magic Kingdom
Saturday (Morning) - Animal Kingdom

Yep, it's official. The parks may not neccessarily be open for a fullthree hours after park closing though. On busy nights when the park already closes late it may only be open for an extra hour or so. I still think it's a good idea!
