New Express Transportation: $19/day or $29/week-SERVICE ENDING AUGUST 23RD 2017

I just keep coming back to the weather issue.
I'd be pretty dang ticked if I paid $29 each and every time I wanted to use it it was closed due to weather.
They really need to fix that problem if they do continue the service. Or what they could do is make it so that you are charged a small fee each time you ride it. This way you have paid nothing up front so if you walk over to the kiosk and they say sorry we aren't running the buses right now then oh well you weren't out any money. If I'm going to pay for a service I expect to be able to use it.

Unless it expands to all resorts I don't see the connection.
Express transportation was for ANYONE that had PH not just for certain people.

But the Minnie Vans don't get you in the park to in the park, you would get them out of the park - I don't see this as a direct replacement - if anything they could keep both options and keep the upcharge items growing, which is what seems to be the trend these days.

We hop 2 or even 3 times on some days. I'm not using the Minnie vans 2 or 3 times in one day at $20 each ride. There is little advantage using the Minnie Vans over regular park to park buses in my opinion. You still are waiting on one end and going through security and bag check on the other.

Wow, I hope this is not ending. I was planning heavily on using this on our September trip. This would mess with my touring plans.

I agree. I don't see how the Minnie Van is in any way a replacement for the Express Bus.
A supplement to the add on transportation options yes.
But not a replacement at all.
The 2 main features you gain with the Express Bus are lost on the Minnie Van, 3 if you include set schedules.

The service is not available because cm have to escort people in and out and in case of lightning and heavy rain they can't be out .
I'm at dhs right now, I'll go over and ask about the service being discontinued or not

Minnie Vans expanding service today, to now also include Wilderness Lodge, Copper Creek Villas & Cabins, and Boulder Ridge Villas at Wilderness Lodge.

In my opinion, no. The comparison here is apples to oranges.

Hopeful that IF this is ending, that it won't be an abrupt decision, but rather with a bit of notice for those that have tried to make plans with it. Obviously, hopeful.

Sad! I really liked it, but I know it wasn't highly utilized. Hopefully they bring it back during the busy holiday season and the summer.

Unfortunate, if true. The service was phenomenal. Have to think if it had been promoted and you could purchase in advance for length of stay it would have really taken off. Many friends I know have traveled to Disney this year and returned unaware this was even available.

It does say "suspend operation" not my words, and not discontinued or ending, so there is a glimmer of hope.
