Busy weekend for me (working Sat. morning, 5K run Sun. morning) but will try to make it!!

Sweet! So glad to see so many responses. I'm excited about another DISmeet. I'll gather some details about Southwick Zoo and see if we can do a full on potluck picnic there. And if it rains we can always do a restaurant meet, it worked out pretty well last time. Well this is good. Although our thread says "March/April DISmeet"! Does anyone know how to change a thread name?

ImprovGal, you are so lucky to be in WDW in May! I'm sure the weather will be great and flower and garden is going on which is always nice. As I seem to recall from our last you are also going on a Mediterrean Disney Cruise soon right? We are crusing in September so I've been splitting my time between this thread and the Sept. 8 cruise thread!

Next month! Im going to Disney NEXT month! ok so its 50days away but I can be excited, right? Looking forward to the Flower & Garden festival and 3 EpCot tours. I'll just be back a week and it will be time for the DISmeet!

Thanks, Stina! The May trip is just a quickie 2 nighter to poke around Epcot Flower & Garden a bit, catch Petula Clark at Amer Gardens, and get a bit of an Adv Club fix. There's another quickie 2 nighter for the first Star Wars Weekend, and then at the end of June I've got a few nights at Disneyland Paris followed by the 10 night DCL Med cruise.

You must be getting psyched for your cruise! DCL is great! Are you doing any WDW time before your cruise? I'll be there for Labor Day weekend.

Bummer....I think that is my dd's chorus district performance day. I'll be close by in Blackstone but won't be able to be in two places at once. Man, will I ever be able to get to one of stina's meets???!!!

hey ImprovGal! your trips sound amazing. disneyland paris followed by a mediterranean cruise sounds like a dream to me. one of these days...

yes, we love DCL. we did the western caribbean in 2005 and we're looking forward to doing it again. wish we had time to do some WDW before the cruise, maybe we'll get one night there before the cruise, if we're lucky!

gosh, today was so cold all i could do to stay sane was put on some disney music in my car and fantasize that I was floating around castaway creek at TL or lounging on serenity bay at castaway cay! i need a disney fix, bad!!!

Well, perhaps if we held the meet at the Southwick Zoo in late April/early May it would be warm enough for a picnic at the zoo. I think it would be cool to not only be able to have a meal and a chance to socialize but also have an activity option.

A park would be a good choice for something like this too. There is a really nice park near me that has beautiful picnic tables and grill setups (Look Park, Northampton) but that may be too far in western Mass. for some people to travel.

Any other ideas? Parks, zoos, restaurants?

Never been to a DIS meet - sounds like fun! Look Park would be great for a future location - just up the road from me!
