new email address

I wanted to sign up for a new rewards program but it wouldn't take my email address (we have aol)

I emailed the site (they answered back within a few hours!!! I thought that was great to start)

and they said that some email addresses are blocked from PTR sites and I should try one of the free email sites and suggested Yahoo email.


is this a good thing to do?

I know alot of you have free emails just for rewards but Im not goo with computers the thought of opening up something new makes me sort of nervous

dznypal, having more the one e-mail is no biggie at all. it will not be a problem...just got to www.yahoo.com

If you have the patience to wade throught the spam, using Yahoo or Hotmail isn't a big deal. Most ISP's offer multiple emails. We have Comcast and I have three emails - one for personal/everyday stuff, one for ebay and one for rewarding and surveys.

I dont know why I just am I guess since Im not real good with it!!

I just hope this new program works out Ive heard good things about and I like the fact that they answered my email in just a few hours

I have many, many email addresses. I have different ones for reward programs, travel, personal, survey sites and one for family business. It actually helps to keep my organized since I don't have to sort tons of emails before I read them.

Yahoo is a good one, but I also have one from Excite. www.excite.com
