New DVC website?

Hi Everyone
I was just wondering if anyone has received their new DVC website sign on info? It said in the newsletter at the end of April we would receive new sign on info but I haven't received anything yet.

I just received mine in the mail! It says teh website will be up and operating May 4th. They are actually sending everyone their own pin number. They say it's so they can tailor the site to our likings, but somehow I feel it's so they can use it for marketing in the future.

They say they will even have a community board. Hmmm- kind of like this one!

That's interesting! Can you imagine the moderators letting some of the discussions go on there that we have here?

I do hope the site does provide some long term on-line information and reservation potential. I guess we'll all just stay tuned!

I haven't gotten our mailings yet either.

If I remember correctly, the community board was promised to us once before, and much debated on this site as to how Disney would tolerate constructive criticism of itself. I'll be curious if it truly comes into existance, and for how long it actually lasts.

Just got one of them in the mail today (Saturday, 4/24). It says each person on your contract will receive their own Vacation Club ID and PIN.

The one I got today was for me, hubby's didn't come yet.

Since we added on I wonder if both my hubby and I will end up with four separate IDs? If this new change has the potential for online account information I wonder if there is going to be a way to combine everything instead of having four IDs?!?


Can't wait to see what is in store...

Oh, and what I received today was just my ID. It says another mailing will come with my PIN.

BNL, I had the same thought. Heard it before about the discussion board. I'm not sure how they'd work that and I doubt rumors and criticism would be up there very long.

Nothing here in NY yet but that could be because my mail delivery is less than dependable. Some days they can't even find my house and other days I get everyone else's mail except my own!
I can't wait to get the IDs. Now my big question is how will it work?
Just haning out waiting for my numbers.

Hi, we just got our ID numbers in the mail (both mine and hubbies) in Michigan. It says the Pin numbers will come soon in the mail. My number and hubbies are the same with the expection that mine is *******-2 and his is ********-1. They also say you will only need this the 1st time you log in.

I wonder what this new site will be like and hope they provide good ways to track your points (I really need to visualize things).

Listed they say the new site should provide:


Enhanced Vacation planning tools

New virtual tours of all DVC resorts

Memeber friendly navigation

"Community Features" inculding Member polls and insdier tips

A magical "vacation countdown" tool


We will be in VB on May 4th, but look forward to tying it out when we get home!!!!!!



They also hint at other features that are "secret" until later.

DVC mail to Canada (Ontario) is really slow we just received on April 22nd, a letter from DVC dated April 7th

lenshanem, I have a feeling that you might end up with ID and PIN for each contract # you have - we are expecting up to 5 sets of ID and PIN's

This is great news. Having individual user logins is a key first step, to deploy features that involve your account.

For those that recieved your PINs, do you get one per contract? If you have 2 contracts, do you get 2 PINs?

Every time I log into a post that you are participating in I get a warning message from my Norton Firewall Software that my computer is trying to send info to the ******WBush website that you advertise. What is this all about? Please advise - thanks.
