New DVC resort?

We were just there in January talking with our guide. He hinted around about the new DVC but woudn't give us any concrete. He did mention River Country and adding new CL rooms at the Grand Floridian. We kept trying to get him to give us any inside news but once he started the subject and we looked overly interested he started spitting and sputtering like he just made a mistake in what he said, so that about ended the conversation.

Personally I would like to see either a new resort somewhere in WDW or if they are going to add villas to any resort I would rather see them build at the Poly instead of the GF. I just feel like the point values will be out of control if they are at the GF. I could be wrong though. Either way....it's good to dream!

Your guides reaction is the very thing that DVD doesn't want. If guests even caught a glimpse of building near Poly or GF, they know sales would dry up.

Screamscape had this rumor dated today...

2013/2014 - New Disney DVC Resort Hotel - Rumor - (2/14/11) According to one of our readers, new survey markers were spotted in the Fort Wilderness area along the “nature trails near the marina” and near the Settlement Trading Post. Could this be more signs of forward traction on that proposed new DVC Resort?
