This is no joke.

I repeat, this is no joke.

Disney is planning a DVC for the top 1% wealthiest people. To these people, the bungalows at the Polynesian are nothing.

This DVC will offer exclusivity – it will not be part of the existing DVC program – so owners of other DVC resorts will not be able to book it. You must own there to stay there.

It will come with very high-end and personalized concierge service – offering unique experiences not available to any other guests.

There is no need to make dining reservations or FastPass+ reservations. This service will provide front-of-the-line service to any Disney attraction, and the ability to dine wherever you want, whenever you want.

This exclusive DVC won’t come cheap. Initial sales are $3,000 per point with annual dues of $500 per point. A single night stay takes 500 points.

This new DVC will have just one unit.

Yes, if you guessed that Disney is converting the Dream Suite in Cinderella Castle into a high-end DVC, you’re right.

So it is going to cost less than the Poly bungalows.:o

I could come up with something like:
DVC is announcing today that a new covered over the roadway walkway from OKW to EPCOT is being built so that OKW will now be considered an EPCOT resort. The walkway will start by the Miller's Road bus stop and end at the monorail station in front of EPCOT. This new walkway will allow guests at OKW direct access to a park with a walk and monorail access to MK. The future plans for this walkway is to extend it over the Sassagoula River to the SSR Treehouse boatdock area. Now all DVC resorts at WDW will be considered next to parks resorts.

Happy April Fools Day!

How about:

Disney announced today 2 major expansions of their monorail system.

In an effort to address the environmental concerns of using hundreds of buses to transport its resort guests, Disney has announced a third Monorail line, with an interconnection at Epcot's World Showcase to the Epcot Monorail line. The new Monorail will include a combined stop at Disney's Yacht Club and Beach Club, with additional stops at Disney's Boardwalk, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disney's Animal Kingdom, Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, and Epcot. This should eliminate the use of more than 80 buses, saving 2 billion tons in carbon emissions, and 400 million gallons of diesel fuel. This expansion will begin construction on April 1, 2015, with a April 1, 2017 anticipated completion date. Colors of the Monorail cars will be Boardwalk Brown, Savanna Tan, and Beach Sand Ivory. The new Monorail was designed thirty years ago, and was, for many years, on planning maps listed as the "Beige Line" with no notation that it was a Monorail.

In other Monorail news, it was announced that the Resort Monorail would be expanded to include stops at Disney's Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness Campground. The new loop will travel over a portion of Futureworld in Disney's Magic Kingdom Resort, affording passengers an excellent view of New Fantasyland.

"These changes fill an important spot in our transportation infrastructure. Plus, it makes the Campground into a Deluxe level resort, allowing us to bring this original resort up the current level of Disney amenities." stated spokesperson John Quigley, Transportation Manager for Disney
