Isn't there a major expansion in Palm Springs area coming (Cotino), guess I just assumed they'd add some DVC there eventually so the Disney Hotel and Grand Calif DVC'ers buying Direct have somewhere else on the west coast to use points.

I think Cotino is ridiculous as a valley native (a sand dune in a wind tunnel using precious ground water for a fake lagoon) BUT I think you’re right. That’s a pretty good idea!

Now that's a proper review. It looks great inside...too bad its for DVC info and not something else more usable.

To be fair... We went and always ask prior to filming or taking photos. The manager working the space kindly asked us not to take pictures or video of the space, as they do not want to present it as a lounge or somewhere members can gather or hang out, since its primary purpose is for sales.

Why not post a single picture in the article? Seems weird.

They didn’t allow us to take any. It is weird how others have gone in and taken photos. They specifically came out and asked us not to take photos or video of the space, then they walked us through it.
Sometimes we can only do so much. And unless you’re there to meet with a guide and purchase direct, it’s not going to do you any good. It’s just a sales office at the end of the day with a model that doesn’t even match the real rooms since it’s shaped like the rounded Chateau.
