New DVC members! Made the call!

We did it! We did it!
We made the call yesterday and got a contract for 250 points! Ken at DVC was very helpful in this entire decision making process! He even helped make first reservations to SSR for us which I had to change once dh and I talked about it more. We are going June 7-11 to SSR in one bedroom suite with our girls. I am so excited but nervous as well. Our credit is not steller as someone on the post below stated. Worried about the debt ratio we have. We are putting more down and adding $5 per pt discount but I am still worried. Just wish the could pre-approve credit first before deciding to go thru it all. Just VERY excited for this to happen. What wonderful vacation memories to be made!

We have been the first week of June several times and the crowds are not bad. Alot of schools aren't out yet and the weather has always been warm but not hot. We love to go the last week of May or the first week of June. We are new owners also at SSR so WELCOME HOME and hope to see you around the DVC.

We always alternate each year between the last week in May (Early June) to the first week in June to make the most of our AP's. It's not too crowded and the weather is great! It's our favorite time to go!

Our favorite time to go is the first week in June. Usually the crowds are not too bad and the park's hours are a bit longer. We have been there in early June with 70's (gorgeous and low humidity!) and high 80's (hot!), so anything's possible. Have fun!!

We just bought into SSR earlier this month, also. We decided to make our first reservations at BCV in hot and steamy August. Wish we could go earlier or in the fall but DH's work and DS's baseball won't allow it this year. We just might add on two or three nights at SSR during our visit as DS (15) might visit with some friends who recently moved to Florida and have been bugging him to stay over. It would be a nice "teen" break for him...and a nice relaxing extra few days for us old people alone. This will be our first DVC resort stay and we're really excited, too!
