Has anyone heard a definite location for any new DVC's??? I've read the past posts about rumors of the new DVC being at Contemporary, AKL etc. but haven't heard anything more...

Thanks for seeing it.... I couldn't find it for some reason. Now I feel dumb BUT... It took me a long time to decide to "buy into" the DVC (BWV's) and I'm trying to decide whether to add more points or to get points at whatever new one may be coming up(that is...if I like the area in which they are built)

I've got to believe based on the data I've read in regards to the number of units outstanding (to be sold) that a new DVC announcement will be forthcoming within the next year. I found this information on a very reliable website.

Also, the Disney Vacation Club continues to grow, as Disney announced that it had sold out its 2,000th unit. The units are owned by nearly 90,000 Vacation Club members. There are shares of approximately 160 units left for sale.

I would assume most of the 160 units available are at SSR.

I went to a local carnival in Naperville last weekend, and the operator said that Disney will be building something in Chicago. It's effecting what he's bidding on (he was the owner / operator), and said if I wanted more info to read the carnival trade journals.

I don't know what those are, or if this is true, but this would be great for me if it's true...


Anyone else hear about something in Chicago. I remember they did DisneyQuest downtown Chicago, but had to close because not enough business.
