New DVC Cards

My DW & I have been members of DVC since 2003, and we have had our permanent cards for almost a year now. Well in the mail on Thursday we received new permanent cards!! Is this something that DVC will do every year?

Interesting -- we have been members since 1994 and still have the same cards???

A few years ago I remember getting stickers that said"valid" to put on our member cards. We have received new cards in the past, don't know why. They looked the same.

lenshanem, they don't feel the same or look the same. You know how the cards we have now look and feel like credit cards? The new cards that we have received are made of a cheap plastic, almost like they are printed like the old DVC cards and than they have been laminated front and back.Vary cheap feel to then.

We first joined in 2000 and received our cards shortly after. About a year later we got two more but they looked exactly the same as the others.

Odd, maybe we're all about to get new cards? Is there a scan thing on the back maybe? Like a park pass?

Anyone else received new cards as of late?

No scan thing on the back. just a place to sign your name on.

I got them for one of our contracts (we have two different numbers). I was really glad because the numbers from the ones we had from 1994 had completely worn off. I wonder when I will get the other ones.

I like the new cards we received because I can now read my membership number easily - the other card got to be very difficult to read the numbers on.

I do agree that you can read the numbers better. But I like the old cards better the feel of them are likr credit cards.
