and prayers and pixie dust~*~*~*~*~* for a speedy recovery to you, my dear!
I know you said not to worry, but you were the last thing on my mind last night, and the first thing this morning. Please know we're pulling for a quick recovery, Lisa!

Madge - Make sure you check to see if your service provider has a local dial-up number. I have 2 set-ups in my laptop. One is standard dial up if I am out in our living room instead of on the satellite in here. The other is called Fairfield but it is NOT set as the default. Before I leave, I check Discover-net's website for a local dial up number and write it (or them if we are travelling) on an index card and tuck that in the laptop bag. When we check-in I read the directions for dialing out of the room to a toll-free number (8, or 9, or whatever - the comma is a pause normally to get the outside line) and then edit the number in the Fairfield set-up to that configuration along with the local number. Never pay a long-distance charge - maybe only a .50 local call fee. I call mine Fairfield because we are usually at a Fairfield Inn!!!!
It takes me all of about 2 minutes tops - usually longer to try to get the phone cord out of the telephone!!!
I have however stepped into the new world now!!! I have a ethernet card now AND a wireless card!!! They are going with me to Disney!
we leave this afternoon, driving to the TN/GA gorder and then on to FL tomorrow! Had to take DD to the peds office, she has another ear infection
some antibiotics and we are all set to go!

I'll second that cheer! I'll cheer for anybody to beat Duke.....iy's old wound....dating back to college days. I've been fortunate enough to see my alma mater play in the NCAA Tournament twice...both against Duke....and both times lost by single digets.Originally posted by ozziewags

To stay on topic....I'm wishing those on their way to Disney...or already there a wonderful trip. We'll be heading down I-95 in 14 weeks....on the way to the Dolphin!!!![]()
I'm just stopping by to say "Hello", and express my feelings of angst and guilt for not being able to post more often. I've never been so weak in all of my life. I can not imagine feeling this way for "6-weeks" (or close) as the Dr. explained. I always thought you drink a couple of cups of juice, and the blood is right back where it was (at least when I've donated a pint). I lost quite a bit more than a pint.
Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. XO
I feel for all of you. Your posts brought smiles/tears to my face, and all the PM's which flooded my box have been overwhelming. I only wish I could answer you personally, but my ability to sit and type wanes pretty fast.
