Merry Christmas everyone! Yes, I have been up since 6am and I think a bomb has dropped in my living room. The mess has since spread to the dining room and the family room. Santa was good to all, and someone must be really looking out for me since part of my presents included Mickey skating slippers, a Minnie plush, and the fairy hourglass snowglobe! I've already played it, and cried, as I can't listen to "When You Wish Upon a Star" without crying!:) Yes, DH still thinks I am insane, but he knew where to get part of my Christmas presents!

On topic>> I have new slippers for our S/D meet in July! The bunny slippers can be retired! <----and they should be! LOL

Merry Christmas!
Debbie

I'm up and waiting to open presents! What's up with those kids o' mine? It's almost 8 AM!! I have obvioiusly not taught them very well! On Christmas morning, when the sun peaks over the horizon, we wake up and OPEN PRESENTS! WHEEE! Well.. I shall go outside their windows and jingle some bells. Then they'll think Santa is leaving! Off to make coffee in my Disbug mug... then do a little more packing...

We usually have Christmas morning at our house. Then off to DH's parents house for brunch with his whole family. And finally, all the way across the city to my paren'ts house where all my siblings gather for dinner and more gift giving! A time to cherish to be sure....

HAPPY CHRISTMAS MORNING ALL!

MERRY CHRISTMAS

To all my Sigma Delta sisters and brothers....as I'm looking out my Window at WDW .....:sunny: :sunny: I wish you all a wonderful Holiday.

Love Ya, Mean It....

Ah.....Happy Christmas to you all!!!!!

Had a wonderful Xmas eve at my grandpa's house. My aunt (she is only a year older than I am - a wonderous gift from Korea b4 I was born from the Holt adoption agency for my grandpa and grandma) cooked us meatballs, ham, cheesy potatoes & cream puffs, etc. I made scalloped corn, green beans and FUDGE. The fudge was a special request from my cousin so, since I have worked every day my mom made a special quest to the grocery store and managed to find the marshmallow fluff etc before they ran out (and they DID - several times!!!!). My aunt is the one who is supposed to be joining me and DD at the Swan for about 4 days when we go this summer.

We gave DD her Best Buy Black Friday camcorder b4 we went there - she was in tears. I figured I could spend a big amount on something special or the same on a bunch of junk - so we went for the camcorder. I think it was about $130 after the rebate? Anyone remember for sure? Of course, mommy has ulterior motives - if it is her camera - she will have to carry it at Disney!!! :p :p It's not digital but it is better than nothing!!! The biggest portion of DS's trip is the Badger Bowl game in Nashville next week - 11 hours driving each way!!! Cross your fingers for good weather & road conditions!

After a late evening then with the 4 of us and my mom, we slept LATE this morning and then went to DH's parents houe this afternoon.

Watched the Disney holiday show this morning on the Travel Channel - those gingerbread displays are gorgeous - then part of the holiday parade. Zurgs - I hope you got to see all of it!!!!

FAN rates are out for Royal Pacific - I think I will just book at those. Still $164 per nite, but for 3 nites I guess I can survive .
 Then move our Swan nights out by 1 evening and all that is left is rental car and airline tickets!!! And 7 months..........

Good morning to all on this day after Christmas.

I have surfaced from 48 hours of wrapping paper, food, dishes, table linens and smiles galore! It was a wonderful Christmas for the MT family. LOL Disbug re: getting up it's Christmas morning - DS(18), DH and I had to wake up DS(20) who would have slept to noon if we had let him.

Santa gave me POC and Finding Nemo in my stocking! My very own tradition is to record the Disney parade (since I am too busy to watch it in the morning) and watch it Christmas night. I smile quite widely throughout the entire program remembering my Christmas trip a few years ago.

My family (DF, Bros, DSILs, DNs and DNs) enjoys talking about our great trip that we all took in 1999 at Thanksgiving. - it was our Magical Gathering. Great memories were made for a lifetime.

To ZW ~ more details on your days in the World!

To Disbug~ drive safely and enjoy - have glass of chardonnay on us!

Welcome, Valentine! :wave2: Do join in on our chatter and our love of S/D!

Don't forget S/D on the Today show this morning.

:moped: We are loaded in the Disbug-mobile and we're off! See you Soon! Gotta Go DH glaring at me!! LOL!

Happy Holidays everyone .

:wave2:

Hope everyone had a great Christmas.

Disbug patiently waiting for my mug I know it will arrive soon.
Have a safe trip and a glass of chardonnay for me.

Zurgswife Wishing you a Happy 40th Birthday and hope you have a great time at WDW.[

Love Ya Mean It...

:wave2: back at ya, poohbear7. You'll love your mug! It will be worth the wait.

I hope everyone had a lovely holiday! I hope Disbug reads this so I can tell her what a "kick" I get out of having my coffee in my S/D mug! It truly has brightened my mornings! When I am looking at my mug I think of all of my other friends, who I have only met through these boards. You are all truly wonderful people!

I keep on checking travelzoo hoping I can switch my CBR days to Swan or Dolphin days! So far it is not happening. If it doesn't... oh well... we'll be in DISNEY!

We had a lovely Christmas here, and I think everyone got EVERYTHING they wanted! Well, the 66 Mustang convertible wasn't under the tree, nor was the new Jaguar.... but truthfully I forgot to tell Santa I wanted those things this year! :) No fighting and family togetherness was what I wanted... and I received!

Sorority wave to all! (Do we have a secret handshake? or is it more like the silent "teacher stare" to get in line?)

Debbie

 The silent teacher stare is something you get with your teaching certificate, Debbie. So, I believe we must share it with others. I'm glad you had a great Christmas.

The thread is quiet today - Disbug, ZW and Muffy are in the World, I believe. Where is everyone else? :(

You guys have been great answering all of my questions. I hope you can help me with this "off topic" question!!

We want to buy our passes before the end of the year just incase of any price increases. So is it best to buy them from our Disney Store because I do not have to pay for shipping and I get the advance ticket discount? We do have a DS in town and I thought about going and getting them tomorrow. This makes the trip so much more REAL !!!!

Thank-you for all your help!

:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

I don't think AP passes are cheaper anywhere, so buy them at the DS and save on shipping while knowing your trip is about to start! :) LOS passes can be bought at the desks at both the Swan and the Dolphin if you want the ultimate park hopper/LOS. For regular park hoppers, I believe some here have bought them from alternate sources. I have only bought the LOS from the Swan desk, and my last trip I finally bought my first AP! *from the MK ticket booth!*

Debbie

We should be getting in the world S/D posts from our Sisters, soon!

I just wanted to stop by to say I hope everyone is having happy holidays! The board is very quiet - I'll take that to mean everyone is off enjoying time with family and friends. :sunny:

Can't wait to hear back from all those who are in the World right now!

kctinkerbell - As far as buying tickets go, we have always gotten ours at the DS here in town. Like you said, you save on shipping, plus you get the advance ticket discount. I've read about some online sites where you can get parkhoppers at quite a discount. I've never done this though, so you'd have to investigate it a little further. There's some info at Mary Ware's site, www.mousesavers.com that you might want to read over. I seem to recall that you don't get the actual tickets this way, you have to stand in line at the parks to cash in some sort of voucher. That's one reason I've never checked into this further, don't want to waste any park time! I could be totally wrong about that part though, so you might want to check it out for yourself.

Ditto hockeymom~but to save on the shipping, buy them at the Disney store OR front desk of the Dolphin/Swan! Hope you are enjoying the "Planning" of your trip...it's some of the most exciting time of a trip for us. :hyper:

Hi, mouseteacher! ~:wave2: count me as PRESENT and wishing ALL of you the BEST HOLIDAY EVER! Hope those in the MAGIC are experiencing all the visions which danced in their heads prior to their arrival. ::yes::

We are heading out to the mountains for a day in the snow. We'll be on the other side of the "mud slides" which engulfed Waterman canyon and the campers. :( We just wanted to toss a couple of snowballs, and share a hot pizza together. Did I mention we found homes for ALL the "6" rescued kittens? They went like Noah's Ark animals..."TWO BY TWO"~! ^_^ Life is great.

Here are some more pics from the San Fran trip...hope you all enjoy these. XO DF99
