to everyone - It was a big sports day here today. The Red Sox WON! Could this be the year? And... the Pats won their game, too. What an afternoon of channel switching b/c they were on at the same time.

jmcross~ I, too, was intrigued by the AKL. So, this past trip, DH and I made a visit to check it out. However, as beautiful as the resort is, I don't think I will stay there. It seems quite isolated (we don't rent a car) and I love staying in the Epcot area. I would go back to the Contemporary if I choose not to stay at an Epcot resort.

Mouseteacher~I agree that the location of the S/D properties seems much better based on everything I've read. I am dying to do that Sunrise Safari, though. I think that splitting my stay between the two may be the best of both worlds.

Of course, this is all based on the fact that both concierge and the safari itself is available for my week. I haven't checked into either one so I may have no options there at all.

Planning is half of the fun though, isn't it?

I'm going into next week with happy thoughts because both the Red Sox and the Patriots did it today! Way to go!

Joanne, I agree that doing a split stay at the AKL as DF suggested, too, is the way to do it. The Sunrise Safari is certainly a draw. I hope it works out for you.

Planning and anticipating is 50% of the fun. Wish I were in a planning stage --- but I must wait until spring to see if a trip is possible for July. Fortunately, I can make last minute plans since my summer schedule as well as DH and DSs is flexible.

Smoreshe is my 2 year old beagle..here she is sleeping with my son Blair....

...Well Blair took her for a walk today and she was attacked by a neighbors dog...So, in the middle of construction of my porch, I dropped everything and rushed her to the Doggie hospital...she has at least 7 lacerations that needed closing...about 20+ staples total...and she has been knocked out with the drugs since about 3:00pm..it's now 9pm and she hasn't done much more then open her eyes...very pitiful...Blair is very upset and worried about the dog...The neighbor feels very bad and has offered to pay the bill and is trying to decide what to do with the dog...Any how..my very full life gets another layer...LOLBut Zurg did say ....because of the circumstances she can sleep in my bed....

House update We finished enclosing the porch this weekend....TAKE A LOOK

Now we have to finishe the inside....hopefully by the end of the week....

DD Update...Still feeling under the weather...has a cold now...she has been on the couch since Thursday...so, I'm keeping her home again...on Monday...but next week is only half days mon-thurs and no school Friday...so she won't miss much...

Ozziwags You go with all that typing and studying...and I can't wait for MY BDAY and CP at LeCellier on Christmas Eve....

Susie2 Welcome..., You will really enjoy the Swan/Dolphin decorations for Christmas..very pretty..

Jmcross I'm just a whimp now a days when it comes to cool water...LOL..Go Sox (don't watch baseball...but just for you)...I love AKL...even small rooms (didn't seem too bad to me), I love the animals early in the am and late at night...didn't have much trouble with noise, and if you have a savannah view it is wonderful...and as far as a remote location didn't bother me for the few days I was there...I will definatley go back...and if I could find away to afford conceirge for the 6 of us I defanately will do the Sunrise Safari

hi, wow thanks loubon i love my pictures, zurgwife, thanks for the welcome hope your dog is feeling better, how sad, we have got a nine month old cocker spaniel and shes already taken over the house, they have a way of getting into your heart and melting it, are youngest son is always getting caught trying to take her up to bed with him, but always gets caught out becouse she gets all excited, from every ones restaurant suggestions i better start buying larger clothers it all sounds so nice, disbug your pictures are wonderful those cakes look really good!!, i cant wait to get there i am driving everyone mad with all this planning you have all been lots of help thanks hope you all have a lovely day susie
