New Disney Visa Offers

Just saw 2 new disney visa offers:

1. It's a wdw vacation dream come true. pretty much like the other package. good through 8/24 > 10/1 3 nite moderate resort package from $119.00 per adult / per nite.

2. 15% off of the non-discounted rate on the select wdw theme park tours. expires 11/ 30.

Where is my thinking wrong?

2 adults at $119 per night is $238 (incl UPH tix) for one day

From mousesavers.com, UPH tix for 4 days and 3 nights are $223 for adults ($223 / 4 days = approx $56 per day for one adult)

$238 - $56 - $56 = $126 for a room rate.

Am I way off? Just trying to break down into a daily cost and then split into a room cost and ticket cost.

The rack rate is $133 plus tax per night during this time, so you are getting a little bit of a deal. Considering there isn't much else on the table at this time, it is better than nothing!

I believe it is based on adult double occupancy, so the rates would be as follows:

Rack Price
Room: $133*3nights=$532
Ticket: $233*2adults=$466
Total: $998

vs. Visa offer
Package: $119*3nights*2adults=$714
Ticket: $233*2adults=$466
Room: $714-$466=$248; $248/3nights = $82 per night, that's a 39% discount!

I think this is a good deal. I called and checked on it and the CM told me it also includes a gift certificate to use at the parks per room for $25 (although the flyer in my credit card bill said $50), a $25 Planet Hollywood gc, and a choice of one option per room: leave a legacy tile, Epcot Storytelling session, round of miniature golf, and one or two other things.

I am absolutely lost on this reward thing. I have the Disney Visa and when I look at my offers I am looking under the following:

I log into Bankone.com/Disney

I am brought to my Account Summary page. On the right hand side, near the top, is a link called: Select Actions. I select: View Current Offers.

Is this where you are finding this deal? I have nothing like this under mine. For example, under Walt Disney World Resort Offers I only have 2 offers. One is for a 15% off a Theme Park Tour and the other is a discount for golf.

Do we all get different offers? Am I looking at the right page?
