I upgraded my current premier to the inspire, I still got new cards issued but am keeping the card number. No more metal 100 for me so I got the UP card. My kids kept their current designs as you don't have to choose the inspire exclusive designs.
if you don’t already have a physical GC, you’ll need to buy one. Then create an account on DisneyGiftCard.com, enter numbers for both the physical and the e-GC, transfer funds, then delete both cards.
I upgraded from Premier to Inspire. I see the updated card design online but nothing else has been updated yet to reflect the new name/benefits. The FAQs say 3-5 days when you upgrade before you will get them, but I am curious to see if any other upgraders actually have accounts that reflect the upgrades now.
Ah, yes, that might have been it. I had my DH refer me so that he could get the $100 bonus.
I did just receive my Gift Card, so about 30 hours after I applied.
I've read the fine print, and it's not clear to me. Does the $100 statement credit for spending $200 on tickets include Special Event tickets, like MNSSHP, MVMCP, After Hours, etc?

Yes, it should. Those tickets don't code any differently on the card. Chase won't know whether they were special event or regular tickets. Mine from the last year are all just listed as "World of Walt Disney" under the merchant transactions.

Oh, good! We have APs and use DVC points to purchase them, so I'm hoping that MVMCP earns us the credit when we go in December this year, or After Hours when we go in July.

I haven't purchased After Hours before so can't comment on that, but both my MVMCP and regular tickets are identical in my 2025 transactions with the vendor and description of "WDW TICKETS-ONLINE".
Interestingly, Lightning Lane is also coding as the same merchant type, but its vendor is simply "WDW" instead of "World of Walt Disney" and says "WDW LIGHTNING LANE" in the description.
So, it's possible that Lightning Lane purchases may also qualify toward the ticket discount, but they are more easily distinguishable than regular tickets vs. party tickets, so we'll have to see how that plays out.
