I don't think it matters. I activated it too. It will just go into effect once you start charging your streaming services to the new card.

I upgraded my current premier to the inspire, I still got new cards issued but am keeping the card number. No more metal 100 for me so I got the UP card. My kids kept their current designs as you don't have to choose the inspire exclusive designs.

If you don’t mind how do you transfer the gift card from the Inspire to a physical card?

if you don’t already have a physical GC, you’ll need to buy one. Then create an account on DisneyGiftCard.com, enter numbers for both the physical and the e-GC, transfer funds, then delete both cards.

I upgraded from Premier to Inspire. I see the updated card design online but nothing else has been updated yet to reflect the new name/benefits. The FAQs say 3-5 days when you upgrade before you will get them, but I am curious to see if any other upgraders actually have accounts that reflect the upgrades now.

It could take up to 48 hours. If you hit that and don't see it then I would call.
