New Disney Visa "Inspire" card

I havent had time to comb the fine print. So I will ask any of any of you have. If I upgrade to this card now, does that make me ineligible for future bonuses? I could use the $200 credit this weekend but I am not wanting to do a new app, but I may want to in the future.
I'm assuming it will be like other Chase cards where if you downgrade (I think it's 30 days before) then you should be able to apply for a new one as long as you haven't received the bonus in the last 24 months.

So would souvenirs and dining in the parks (Disneyland and WDW) be 3% back? But all non-Disney stuff is still the 2% like the Premier. Correct?

I assume with 2 Disney trips a year, we'd easily make up for the extra $50 in annual fee.
First part yes Disney in the parks is 3% Second part yes and no. For the most part yes but they also increased the payout on gas from 2% to 3%.

With 1 trip buying tickets (AP's also qualify) you would be back down to the $49 fee as after $200 in tickets you get a $100 statement credit.

Do those code differently on a credit card? Otherwise I don't think the system would be able to distinguish between them.
Well, that's basically my question. They shouldn't... yet folks here on Disboards have had issues with Chase honoring the 6 month financing when putting their DVC Member Cruise payment on their Disney Visa because of an issue on Chase's side.

I think this thread is a bit off from "purchasing DVC" until we have some DPs on how the card works with DVC items... might be better in the Budget section

I think it should stay since there are at least 2 maybe 3 people in this thread in the process of getting this card for their current purchase of DVC and will be updating us.

Since I was just rejected for 5/24, I'm considering just upgrading my Premier. Is that a work around for the 5/24?

Would that give me all the benefits of the Inspire except for the sign up bonus? A sign up bonus is wonderful, but I'm pretty sure I'll be ahead of the game with Inspire within a couple months.
