New Disney Visa deal

I called regarding the Disney deal (3 night Dreammaker package) for 3 nights in August at the POP (preferred). It cost $1,211 (with no insurance or transfers). Well between the regular room rate of $104 for POP (AAA-preferred) and 4 day hoppers for 4 adults at $215 each, I only see $63 savings. And one day is the day we arrive which will be about noon. So I won't get full use of the passes. with my own hoppers I can keep unused days for ever...

what am I missing?

The discount basically applies to the room only, so you are saving about $10 a night on the room. If you switched to a moderate or deluxe resort you would see a much larger savings.
