New Disney Store in Barrie

I do not know if this has been posted but I just went to the new Disney Store at the Georgian Mall in Barrie Ontario.

It is pretty small has mostly kids stuff but there is some clothing for Adults and mugs, hats picture frames etc.

I finally live near a Disney Store Woot Woot

Yup -- eldest kidlett goes to Georgian and when he needed papers signed for this years OSAP I was thrilled to get to go. The new expansion to the mall is great but I was so sad to see that the store was mainly over run with princess stuff and Incredible stuff for boys. Saw maybe 4 t-shirts for adults and hardly any stuff that I would like <sigh> guess I just haffa wait till December when I get to go to the REAL stores.

Ok Barrie gets a Disney store but London with 3 yep count em 3 LARGE malls and one just seconds from teh 401 doesn't have one yet ok something stinks here London needs a Disney Store.

I was just there this weekend with my daughter. I was just thrilled to find out that we have one. The only problem I have is that there clothes are for smaller ones. My daughter is ten and the kids clothes are too small and the adults are too big. It would be nice if they carried clothes for the tween ages. By the way where in Barrie do you live. I noticed that we will be down in Disney at the same time. Can't wait!

Nope only in the US stores.

So where can you get Disney Dollars here in Canada? Can you get them online anywhere?

Nope but you can call down to guest services and order them on the phone but only up to 75.00 dollars.

Just clarifying, they will ship them to Canada for you? How much do they charge for that?

Not 100% sure but if it is anything like they charge for shipping for anything else it will probably cost you almost as much as purchasing them in the first place.

I live in Barrie and just before school started I bought my daughter a Ariel backpack and lunch bag from that Disney store. 2 days later I was back in there and they were all 50% off!! I asked the girl if I could get my money back and she said I would have to bring the back pack and lunch bag back. I couldn't just show her my recipt (which I had on me) And I wouldn't be able to buy back the back pack and lunchbag that I returned, I had to make sure there was the ones I wanted on display. The ones I returned would be held in the back room for 2 days. I guess this prevents people from doing this. So the NEXT day I went back and all the lunch bags were gone, so I just returned the back pack and was stuck paying full price for the lunch bag. In total it would have been a difference of $18.00, I ended up with $12.00 back. Needless to say, I wan't impressed.
