New Disney site? Sucks for reservations.

Just logged in to my account -- had to "re-register" with the new site, and my resort reservations didn't transfer over, so I had to go through the whole mess of relinking my reservation with my account (rented DVC points).

I'm just playing around with the dining reservation system, trying to get an idea of how it works before my 180 day window comes up. I have been having the worst time -- things are difficult to navigate, not intuitive, and I keep getting "server busy" messages.

Is anyone else having problems?
 
It IS AWEFUL....period. I went through a lot to get all of my ADR's entered just to find out that when I logged out and logged back in they are gone again:badpc:. I closed internet explorer, cleared cookies and went back to the old site. GOing to use it as long as they let me.
 
I cannot get this to work either! Today is 180 days and I cannot make a single reservation online!
 
Same issues here! When i tried to pull up my resort reservations, it told me it couldn't do it and to try again later. Ok, whatever, onto making my ADR's. For a while it would let me get as far as the final "click to confirm" page, then when I clicked it, it would take me to the Disney Travel home page :confused3 Then later, I'd click the final confirm button, and it would load for a while before saying the server was busy, and to try again later. The really annoying thing, is every time I'd start over, the date I wanted would have the time listed as 5mins later than my previous attempt. I was trying to get an 8pm ADR at BOG and after trying it a few times, I was up to 8:20pm as the only available option. Not much use when I'm trying to get in and out in time for the parade :badpc:

I guess maybe I'll call, but I feel bad for the CM that gets me and has to listen to me hmm-ing over various dates and times on the phone because I can't make up my mind - exactly why I wanted to browse in my own time online :sad2:

i just logged in also....did you get the resort to ever transfer over? i put in the conf code and all that it ask and NOTHING! it is so frustrating!
 
I finally got a few ADR's made (mostly the dates/times we wanted) but one was completely sold out and I can't help but wonder if I would've gotten them if I'd been able to make my reservations the first time I started trying.

Still can't see my resort reservation since it switched over to the new site though :confused3
 
My reservations would not show up at all. We have three trips planned in the next three months and many, many adrs. It would take forever to manually input all them. I put in one and after a few minutes moved on to the next one. Then the first one disappeared. I tried searching for available reservations and when I found a CP for dinner I couldn't book it because it wanted me to log in again. I called dining and they couldn't book it either, they said the screen was frozen. The whole system is messed up.
 
I cant get my resort reservation to pullup for anything... 2 of my adrs are missing.
Can you call and confirm an adr with the automated phone instead of harassing a CM?
I have contacted them 2x asking why I cant get my reservations and they have no answers.
 
It is really frustrating. I am 179 days out and was able to book res. for my first two days, but can't after that. It keeps asking me to enter my resort conf. #, and when I do it says it can't be found, so I can't make any further reservations. :mad:
 
confused...i don't see anything different. has the new site only rolled out to certain users? :confused3
 
In my office last week a co-worker came and asked me where on the new site you could see the menus. They are no where to be found! Or we both are overlooking them. Sucks when looking at places to make ressies at and you have to go to another site to look at the offerings now (which were normally more up to date anyway, but still).
 
I was trying to book some new ADRs tonight and no matter what I did, when I hit the final "confirm" button, it told me I had been idle for longer than 30mins and to start again. And even with typing in my other ADR confirmation numbers into My Reservations, it couldn't find them *argh*
 
I was having the same problems too. This is a nightmare, I thought it would take me 5 minutes to make a couple ADRs online while I cleaned up after Christmas, because hooray, our window finally opened!! ...Instead I just spent 10 minutes trying to get through on the phone, only to find out the system is down for them too and NO ONE can make a reservation! No word on when they'll be back online. AHHHH! :furious:
