new disney photography website

i like that they broke it down into who took what
might help some folks out

....and we are on Mikes page...hehe

Grrrr! I can't see it here at work! I wonder if we are on there? I'm glad they finally got that up though, I know it will help a lot of people! :)

Thanks for sharing. First question that popped in my head: I wonder who the photographer was? :faint:

Thanks for posting the link. I recognized some of those people :thumbsup2

Are they guaranteeing requests now though? Does anyone know? It's great to know who did what but I want to know who I am getting. Yes, it is understandable that some photogs aren't available on certain days but then people could go for a different day to work around this.

Yes, this is a step in the right direction. Let's hope they keep it up :thumbsup2

Awesome that you are on Mike's page as well!

I never thought I'd say this but Disney photography might just get my business. I know they were show-pieces, but they were fabulously beautiful!

I love, love, love that they put each photographer's portfolio there with their names! :goodvibes

I'm really glad they're going this. My only worry is that I find it almost misleading. I've seen MANY weddings and portrait sessions done by Disney photographers over the years on these boards... I have to say that the images on this new site are not typical of what I've seen. Both in originality and in post-processing I have seen only a rare few that life up to the standard set by this website.

It's a step in the right direction, but if my wedding photos had come out like my Magic Kingdom photos I would have been devastated! They were not anywhere near the quality displayed.

Definitely - if you look at the shots of DIS brides chosen for the new website and then look at the same pictures posted in those brides' trip reports, you will see that many of the versions on the new site have been heavily Photoshopped and are not what the brides got.

However, from looking at recent Magic Kingdom shoots, it does appear that Disney has upgraded their equipment since you and I had our disappointing Magic Kingdom photo shoots - so that bodes well for future brides and grooms! :)

So does Disney not send brides the photoshopped pictures like Randy and Misty does? Personally I love the look of photoshopped and 'un-real' photos for wedding because to me it's an un-real experience. I want my photos to look like they've been lifted out of a magazine, but that's just me...

We only got two or three Photoshopped pictures in the mix with our Magic Kingdom shoot, but I have seen them post more of them in recent MK shoots. I haven't seen very many pictures with special effects from actual weddings, but again - it could be something they are adding, or maybe you could request it. I do know they have an hourly rate for retouching pictures - but I don't know if that includes special effects like you'd want.

There's a Husband & Wife team that shoot for Disney Photography. They are awesome.:cheer2: They work as a team on weddings. They also do weddings outside of Disney. (I'm in the entertainment business.) I know that when cast members at Disney get married, they try to request David & Vicki Arndt for their first choice.

We are planning a vow renewal for my parents Anniversary. I am definitely booking the Arndt's for photography.

I know they are on the Disney Website, but I can get you a link to their personal website if anyone is interested.
