As a reference, I did not use the paypal offer, my GC order charged on 11/21, the chase credit appeared 11/24. When you look at your chase offers, does it show the GC offer as redeemed?

No, it sure doesn't. My purchase was on 11/16, and the charge shows PayPal on the statement, so I think I lost on that gamble. It's still good for 4 more days (the 5%), but there's no great offer to combine with currently. (Cap1 shopping gave me 7% back in addition to PayPal points, so I can't complain. That deal is over, though.)

Yup. Party is over but it also makes me think they’re basically validating that any points we got up till now will stand. That’s how I read it anyway.

It still says eligible purchases, so all they are saying is they will honor people who went over the $250, whether they will honor gift card purchases remains to be seen.
