NEW Disney Gift Card Deals and More.

I can confirm that as of now, the Target spend to $500 extra bonus promotion is stacking very nicely with the spend $100 on GCs and get $10 Target gift card promotion.

Here's how I have stacked so far:

1x $100 DGC (and 5% with Target Red Debit) = $10 digital Target GC instantly + $100 qualifying towards $500 spend
2 x $50 DGC (and 5% with Target Red Debit) = $10 digital Target GC instantly + $100 qualifying towards $500 spend.
Update, I finished out the 5x $100 spend with another $100 DGC and then 2 x $100 Lowe's GCs (had to let DH in on the fun at some point :rotfl: ). I was scratching my head though because each $100 spend was ringing up at $95.50 (4.5% off) with my Red Card. After my first 4 orders had been placed, I called Target and they explained that they take the inferred value of the $10 promo GC off the top of the order when they do their calculations of the RedCard discount ... thereby making each effective order value $90, and my RedCard discount only calculated off that $90 (5% of $90 being the $4.50 that was taken off).

This to me seems pretty deceptive, and not accurate anyway - they aren't actually taking the $10 off the order (indeed, by their logic, I am actually getting a $110 GC order for $100, meaning my net price is still $100), the $10 promo GC is not a cash discount that I could apply elsewhere, etc. I wrangled with the guy over it (more for principle than because I was dead set on putting $2 back in my pocket) and after some doing he offered to credit me an additional ... FORTY FIVE CENTS on each of my (to that point) 4 orders. Not even the paltry 50 cents per order that I was owed, but an additional .5% back on the $90 that Target considered to be the actual value of each order. At this point I was incredulous, and asked him if he truly intended to stiff my $2 refund by twenty cents, less than a quarter. He confirmed that yes he was indeed planning to do so, but in my case he would adjust it up to the full $2, as a one time courtesy. It felt less than courteous. o_O

But it does potentially explain what others have reported, that their RedCard discounts are not showing up as a true 5% on some transactions - I have to assume this is usually happening when a "buy one GC get a $10 Target GC" promo is added.

It's outlined in the 5% back program T&C how that works. That's what others were trying to explain earlier for the correct amount and it's really only a 4.5% discount on the face of this DGC because of the promotional Target GC in the transaction. This happens on all promotions, not just but a GC to get a GC ones; like spend $50 on cleaning supplies get $10 GC, buy 3 detergents get $5 GC, etc.

"5% discount applies to eligible purchases minus any other discounts and the value of any promotional Target gift cards received in the transaction."

I made 3 separate $100 GC orders from Target yesterday. Last night, I tried for a 4th order and it was canceled shortly after I made it. I don't know if it's worth trying again because one of the reasons given in the email was that they are limiting quantities on high demand items. I'm happy for those of you who were able to order 10 times but also just a little bit jealous. We were too busy yesterday for me to order multiple times during the course of the day.

I ordered one yesterday and one just now. Received the $10 target GC for both. Worth trying again.

Just went in and ordered one. I had ordered 4 yesterday

I placed 10 orders yesterday. Got the 10 DGC and the 10x10 back.

AmEx offer on my personal cards for BJ's Wholesale

Spend $300 in one or more purchases get $60 back.Expires 12/31/2025

I don't have it but reported on r/churning that a Walmart offer is available -

$20 off $60, up to 2x for $40 total at Walmart.com - expires 12/31
Got it on two accounts. This is the best offer of all the offers to buy gift cards with. Very happy AMEX sent this! Also a 25% back on Walmart purchases which may also work on gift cards. Haven’t checked the terms on that yet.

Good to know, and while this is not clear from the purchase window, in reviewing the order invoice, it does show that they invoiced the Target Gift Card separately at $10 (its own transaction) and invoiced the DGC purchase as if I am getting $10 off the top.

Amount $100.00
$10 Target GiftCard with $100 select gift cards purchase
-$10.00
Target Circle Card 5%
-$4.50
Item subtotal
$85.50
Invoice total
$85.50

Not great, except for Target, as this allows them to effectively double count the Target GC value when it comes to cash back - once against the initial purchase, and once against the actual purchase where it is used (assuming you use a RedCard for part of the purchase). But, as with everything, it's better to be aware!

Darn, didn't get it, but that's really it's saving me from myself, as after Sam's and Target DGC promos, I need to be cut off. :rolleyes1

FYI for others -- on our Delta Amex cards DH and I did both get $10% off prepaid Expedia bookings, up to a $1250 spend in total. We don't ever book through Expedia, but passing it along!

For bjs members, I had a $15.00 reward from the pet food promo that says "You have $15 in awards due to expire on 11/17/25". I was hoping to use it tomorrow when the gift cards go on sale, but I did a chat and they said that means the reward is expired on 11/17, not that it is still good for use on 11/17 and I need to use it today. I think the wording is a little confusing and could have lost the reward had I waited, just a heads up! Unfortunately it's mixed in with my credit card reward and I can't separate it on checkout, I'll have to use all my reward funds today.
I would have 100% understood it to still be valid through midnight on the 17th. That said, I've also had uneven responses from chat agents so who knows...

No where does it say you get $10 off or a savings to use anywhere you want. It clearly says buy a $100 gift card, get a $10 Target gift card. Which of course, can only be used at Target. It seems to me to be pretty clear & not deceptive in any way.
