I purchased my Sam's Club membership Saturday through swagbacks. My current pending activity says it will credit in 27 days. So, sounds like about 1 month from the day you purchase.

Amex Offer on both our Delta Amex cards for $20 back on a purchase of $300 in Amex GCs via the amexgiftcard.com site, up to two times. That's about 6.7% off once you combine with code SHOPEARLY25 (through Nov. 10) to waive purchase fees.
So I finally got an offer for these American Express gift cards on my BPP however it’s $50 off $750. With having to lay out that much cash and people saying it’s hard to liquidate these cards. I don’t know if it’s worth it for me to get 1.67% more savings +2% MR over what I could just get with my CIC.

Does anyone know if you can add these to Apple wallet? That might help using the cards.

Edit: Apparently you can and @Duckbug.Ducktales BJ's takes ApplePay

Your American Express Gift Card and eGift Card purchased on AmexGiftCard.com can also be used in-store to pay when added to digital wallets: Apple Pay®, Samsung Pay®, and Google Pay™.

Doordash dash pass users are able to get 15% off certain gift cards with a maximum of $25 off.

This is limited to one card as well per account however with many Chase cards giving you DoorDash for free you may be able to get multiple cards.

Southwest is included, but in order to get the maximize savings, you have to spend 168 or $169.

Granted, you can generally only use three gift cards per transaction. It might not be worth it if you’re trying to book for a family.

In the past, I wouldn’t mind as I could just get these refunded to a transferable credit and keep adding to that transferable credit throughout the year, but now that the credits expire, it’s not going to be worth my while I don’t believe.

Again, this may work for solo travelers though

Yes, that would be a bit rich for me as well. I liked the $20 off $300 because I could choose however many redemptions I felt I needed.

Ah, thanks. I have a similar offer and also need to finish a SUB spend within the next month. So I thought maybe I could buy an Amex GC then use it at BJ's to buy a DGC. But I'll see how many DGCs I'm able to get next week through Sam's, I might get enough to cover our DVC dues and be set

Did you get the Best Buy offer? It popped back up for me.

If it works it is not much more spend then what I normally do.

I usually hit up OD/OM when they have $15 off $300 V/MC.
Since the activation fee is about $8 that means I am spending either $594 for 3 $200 cards or $1,188 for 6 $200 cards.
Cards max out at $200 there so I theoretically could just get a $200 and a $100 I would still be paying the same fees of $8 a card so it just easier to do them in batches of 3 $200 so that I get a little more than the activation fee covered.

Did anyone do the Swagbucks/Sofi deal where you get $415 from Swagbucks and $300 from Sofi for opening a new account and having direct deposits of $5k? $15 with Swagbucks went pending basically right away for opening the Sofi account. Yesterday I had my paycheck direct deposited to my new Sofi account. What has me worried is Sofi says the type as deposit even thought it was a direct deposit from my employer. Should it say direct deposit instead of just deposit or does Sofi just say deposit for anything coming into the account? How long should it take for Swagbucks to recognize that the direct deposit was made?

If you buy 3 cards wouldn't that make the fees more than the $15 discount? Does the amount of the spend include the value of the points earned?

3 $200 = $600
3 Fees = $24

$15 off each $300 = $30 off for 3 cards totalling $600

$600 + $24 = $624
$624 - $30 = $594

I then get 5% back in CUR so if I wanted to convert that to cash it would be $29.70

If we apply that cash to the total

$594 - $29.70 = $564.30

This ends up being 5.95% off

I then use those for buying discounted Gift cards at Sam's or BJ's or for the utilities that don't code as utilities on my Cash+ card.

I wouldn't take anything that American Express writes as a guarantee these will work - after all, they say these will work at all online merchants and we know that clearly isn't true.

The best thing would be to buy one small gift card (even if paying full value) and test it first to make sure it will work somewhere useful to you.
