NEW Disney Gift Card Deals and More.

Target is being stingy with the offers.

I don’t want free Apple trials. You can get them anywhere, so why should I have to purchase from Target to get an Apple trial.

Depending on whether it's targeted, you may see a Meijer mPerks offer for 10,000 points when you spend at least $100 on the One4all gift cards. This offer excludes the Giving Good and O4A Ultimate versions of these gift cards. 10,000 points is the limit, and it goes through August 16. Main store only--does not work at Meijer Express or online.

OK, good to know. I don't really shop at Target, except for Disney cards, so even though I'd have a $10 credit, it's not going to help me with reducing the costs to go to Disney. Thanks.
That’s a shame because these are some of the most consistent deals, seem to come around ever couple months in one form or another. Target sells a lot of basic stuff, I would be shocked if you don’t use stuff they sell. I’d mess around on the app or website with your local target selected and maybe just double check they don’t sell stuff you use. Others who don’t normally shop at Target will also use these rewards towards presents come holiday season.

Thanks for posting. Since it’s not a coupon I think everybody should have it. I at least did this time. :)

For those of you who use (discounted) Disney GC to pre-pay DVC Dues, what amount do you pay? Last year’s amount? Last year’s amount + 5%? (This what I have typically aimed to save for but as we know sometimes is more or less.) Some rounded amount above or below?
I just pay whatever when I am using up cards.... I figure if you were to prepay last year's amount then when the post the new numbers I'll just pay the difference then. Dues very rarely go down. I think so far I've paid about half of next year's dues.

Back when we could set up monthly bank draft but pay by DGC through the year, we’d apply our DGCs whenever we bought them. Now as we buy the GCs we transfer the funds to plastic cards and save them until dues have to be paid. That way the funds are also available for other expenses, like buying Sorcerer APs with the recent $75 GC perk!

It’s interesting to see the various ways individuals on this board go about accumulating the amount and number of DGCs they need. Seems there are many reasonable approaches one can borrow from to create their own strategy. It’s that range of ideas that makes reading these posts so valuable.

Given how expensive Disney is, the GCs really help provide additional savings in a meaningful way... especially since if you are careful you can get them (or at least a number of them) for 10-15% off! The only thing I am cautious about is I don't like "prebuying" too many GCs in case they are stolen, hacked, I lose them, forget I had them, etc. It really does take an additional layer of organization but is well worth it!

Totally agree. I am relatively new to all this. My foray into DGC purchases didn’t begin until last November, so it wasn’t long before they were used for 2025 DVC dues, APs, and spending for a January trip.

This year I began accumulating DGCs early and often so when I came across the idea of prepaying dues to manage DGC theft risk I quickly jumped on it.

Thank you all for sharing the way you do!

yep I’m Canadian so all these American credit card exploits don’t work for us. And our credit card rewards suck up here.

That giftcards dot com was a huge saver last year.
I’ll likely buy way more this year if they do it again.

I’m still waiting to see if my JW Marriott triggers on the Disney Visa for 10% off Marriott Hotels. I’ll let everyone know if it does but right now it’s only been two days since my stay posted to the card.
So 4 days left on this offer and it’s still showing up in my “added” section of my card, and not in “redeemed”. The JW has been posted since August 3rd. I’m not feeling great that this will trigger as a Marriott Hotel, despite the transaction being labeled as Marriott, merchant type Marriott and only the description being “JW Marriott Indy”.

P.S. Last year I was able to buy a lot of DGCs in November when giftcards.com had them for 10% off. Hope we see that offer again this year!
It was even better than that…you could buy giftcards.com giftcards that were also 10% off and use those to buy Disney Giftcards. I also managed to stack that with an extra 3% cashback from Swagbucks at the time so it was close to like 20% discount. It was a very exciting time.

I use the Disneygiftcards.com site to transfer funds from e-gift cards to physical cards, then I delete all of them from the site. I do the transfer ASAP after the e-GC arrives and move the delivery email to a “DGC” folder in my email file, but since the e-GC is empty, it doesn’t matter if someone hacks into my email because they can’t get the funds. The funds are on the physical cards in my possession. I currently have 5 physical cards that I fill as close to the $1,000 limit as I can, but most are empty now because we spent those funds on our 2025 dues and our January 2025 trip, plus we just bought Sorcerer APs. I’m replenishing - added $400 over the weekend thanks to a Target bonus offer.

I was really disappointed with my Circle offers this week. I've been getting deals that are consistently about 10% in rewards so I would buy my gift cards and use the rewards for home goods. But ... yeah, don't need apple subs or a Target360 subscription. (One of my deals is spend $199 get a free Target360 1-year subscription.

At first I considered it but it doesn't look like Target360 gets you any better deals and we don't need the delivery/etc).

I remember people talking about doing that. I was just starting out, needed a lot of $ on cards before January, and was worried they might run out so I bought as much as I could as quickly as I could. Multiple $500 cards for $450 plus shipping and then got 2.5% cash back from Rakuten. Would definitely like to try your method this year if I get the opportunity.

On Saturday and Sunday I bought 4 $100 DGCs in separate transactions to get a $30 reward. Last night I was surprised to see in my Target app that I had met the $199 spend requirement for a free Target360 annual subscription, so I signed up! Now I have a year to find out whether it's useful to me or not.

The only thing that I've found useful with the Target360 subscription is the choose your monthly reward. Nothing exciting but it's usually between $5-$10. Some options are useless, but others are fine. The extended return policy is nice. I personally wouldn't pay for it, but I got it as part of buying Disney GCs as well.
