I’m having vague memories of this accidentally going live night before last year- am I totally off base?

Yes, last year many were able to place orders prior to the go-live date and even exceed the limit. I wonder if they've updated IT to fix the issue this year.

Didn't it go live early two years ago and last year was when people were using the glitch where if the added it to cart from previously bought it would work? Or something like that. Or was that the Spring version they do?

I think you're right. I think it was last year around this same timeframe.

Last year, the system flagged my husband and I based on address and phone number when we tried to do this. At the time, I was a recent member but his membership had been expired over a year.

We ended up logging into the old accounts (there were several, we've been alternating for years) and making all of them our house phone and his parent's mailing address.

Once his cell phone and our mailing address were no longer associated with old accounts, we were able to get an offer as a new member for my husband. In fact, we just expired, so I'm going to go into that most recent account, switch the phone and mailing address, and get myself a "new" membership again.

Yeah, I think so. I don't have a membership either, but my mother and MIL each do so in the past they just share their logins with me and I purchase with my CC. So it should work the other way around
