NEW Disney Gift Card Deals and More.

This offer is from a physical paper ad and doesn't include all the information that's why I don't post it. I would have thought those who shop there would know. Taking a jab at it:
  • Outside MD: Valid 10/06/24 - 10/12/24.
  • Redeeming Dates: 10/13/24 - 10/19/24 Sound about right?
Just so you know, I'm in Michigan where we don't have ShopRite.
Thanks. I thought maybe you had the ad. I'll check it out when it is available but what you wrote is what I would expect. If so, I need to add a trip to Shoprite on my pre-trip list for 10/7. Thanks!

About three days ago I added Chase Travel Offer: Spend $500, Get $100 Off

View attachment 900046

Then yesterday I got the Chase Bonus email...

View attachment 900044

However today when I was poking around CFF, I no longer see the $500 offer. I'm not sure what to do here, we were not planning any trips for 2025. DH & DS are going to Universal Orlando for Halloween Horror Night but I'm not going.

I have 111,096 points . I really have no clue what to do, I am not a points person. Is it possible to rebook? Should I even bother?
:( I'd really, really like to go to Paris...

Cabana Bay Beach Resort: Tuesday, Oct 22, 2024 - Wednesday, Oct 23, 2024 – One night stay

Loews Portofino Bay Hotel: Wednesday, Oct 23, 2024 – Tuesday, Oct 29, 2024 – Club level.

Flights have already been booked with Delta using Companion Pass.
You can rebook anything that is refundable. Check the Chase portal and compare the pricing with what you’ve got booked. Chase will tell you the refund policy at booking too. As for the 20k points at a minimum that is $200 as you can cash out URs to your bank account for 1cpp. If you had an annual fee travel card with Chase you could use points to book on the portal at 1.25-1.5cpp. (If you don’t see yourself ever getting an AF card I don’t see the point in hoarding your points and would consider cashing out.)

Great job! Just adding visual and additional information:

A caveat. You can usually only use one coupon at a table per visit, so you probably can't use both on one visit. You'll need to go twice from 1/1-3/31 and use one $10 reward card each time. If you only spend $50 each time, it ends up being 20% off ($10 off $50). If you spend $100 each time, its really like get 10% ($10 off $100). You probably can't spend $100 on one trip and save $20.

Restaurant gift cards can be confusing that way if you don't read the fine print. Its not just Landry's. Outback and others often do the same with their reward offers.

You usually can't use any other rewards or coupons at the same visit either if you have any.

I'm hoarding points for our 2026 Japan trip. I don't know if I'll be able to use them the way I envisioned, but I do plan on getting another CC for that trip - dear friend, old pal. Yes. I'll be reaching out to you ;)

Okay, so should I save my points for 2026? We're not taking a direct flight. We'll fly like to LAX, spend the night. Then the next day fly to Japan. I can hear @Liquidice teeth grinding!. Lol, honesty we cannot physically handle a direct flight, 8 hours on a plane is all we can take.

I'll look into Chase Travel for 2024 fall trip.

You should see your online ad I'm guessing this Friday or Saturday.
And those in Maryland should see their online ad tomorrow Oct 3rd and the physical paper ad should be in mail either today or tomorrow.

Outside of Maryland, I don't know when you'll get your physical ads in the mail, I would guess Saturday?

Even though I've been doing this since 2020, I still don't know all the ins & outs of every store, especially those I don't have access to.

You can redeem 2 per table. I use the certificates every year and as long as you spend over $50 (not including alcohol) you can use both.

Per the terms on the reward certificate: "A maximum of two cards can be redeemed per visit per table."

Hmm, on our last trip we were told we could only use one. I even posted about that and I clearly remember it shocked @gottalovepluto

Well that's interesting why some can use two without issue while others cannot.

And there is no way I can possibly read the fine print. I have no problems sharing here that I'm old, that I wear glasses and according to my optometrist at my last visit, I have the beginnings of cataracts. IN. BOTH. EYES. :crazy2:

That is interesting... I know the last round of bonus rewards, it also stated that you could use 2 per table. Maybe there were some previous rewards that only let you use one :confused3.

This round definitely says 2 per table, so I think you could ask to speak to someone if they didn't let you use 2 and you spent over the threshold.

You're right I should have questioned it. For my family of 3, this is a great deal. Seriously, thank you so much for posting!

Lol, thanks for this. My Shop rite circular actually refers to a completely different store in their version (Fairway), so just some extremely bad copypasta there.

Wait, what? So you shop at Fairway as in this: Fairway
and not: Fareway

I don't think I've ever posted an offer from Fairway. Yeah, it's not even on my list.
Hmm, I'll have to look into that. Are they having a gc sale?
Can you post the offer? Thanks!

In this case I would hold out hope a CSP or CSR could be in your future which would add 25-50% value to your points at minimum and would hold onto the points.

Being reminded I’m mad again on your behalf. The fine print is clear cut- but what matters is what the manager of the moment approves 😒

I’m skipping this deal this year. Got some GC from Costco on their last sale and I don’t have to deal with this rewards card nonsense.

This is what is in my ad. I received the physical today. It doesn’t reference Shoprite AT ALL. Instead of saying excludes ShopRite gift cards, it excludes Fairway GCs. And ShopRite’s card isn’t an Insider Account (this is probaly Fairway’s), their discount card is called a Price Plus card.

I have no idea. Maybe they were, but their discount shows up in the ShopRite Circular. I have no idea where they even are. I have never seen them which is why I found the issue in the Shoprite circular so weird.

Now I get what you're saying. Thanks for clarifying.

Oh! OT but unless you’re married to LA, when the time comes for those Japan flights look at SEA and SFO too. They all offer directs from West Coast to Japan.

Yes. I used LAX as an example but once we're ready to pounce, I'll be looking at all the airports from DTW to .... Eight hours max!

Is there a direct flight that you could take? Airports suck so much time with getting there early and going through security. Our home airport does not fly direct so we’d fly out of JFK (about 2 hours away) which does have direct flights (about 13 hours). Think we’d do a car/limo service to get there and come back.

I’m getting my husband to broach talking to his boss about our Japan trip that I want to take next June. I ideally want to go for 3 weeks. I am a SAHM so no problems with time off. But he now has no set amount of vacation time (basically can take as much as he wants) but he still has to clear it with his boss. I don’t want to book tickets until I know everything is fine.
