NEW Disney Gift Card Deals and More.

So in your opinion, if I'm willing to take the 6 separate mailings risk, I should grab the 6 GC GCs and then do the DGCs and call it a day on my one time use Chase offer?
Do you have multiple Chase cards?

The offer is one time use so in order to double dip you can only use it to buy $300 of GC.com cards in one transaction as the discount of 10% is limited to 3, $100 cards.

You can repeat if you have other offers but the extra value is if you have the offer on a Freedom or Freedom Flex card that you can use PayPal to get an additional 5% assuming you have not already maxed out the $1,500 quarterly spend.

Team - could someone kindly illuminate me as to whether the Target Circle reward I would earn completing my bonus can be redeemed for a Disney gift card purchase? I buy next to nothing at Target besides them, so I won't bother if this cannot be done. Thanks!

I agree with you, I also rarely shop at Target which is why I don't value getting a target circle bonus or target gift card the same as cash back.

Yup, I already used all of my $1500 on my Chase Freedom card, so I can't take advantage (or if you mean the Chase offer, I don't have the offer) - but it should work if you haven't already used it and yes to everything else. You're limited to $600 worth of giftcards dot com GCs per account and you can only use a single $100 giftcard to pay for the Disney Gift Card. So if you buy $600 worth for $540, you then need to do 6x separate transactions which results in 6x $1.99 shipping fees and 6x separate envelopes being mailed to you. Annoying that they won't let you use multiple giftcards together to make 1 big purchase.
Does anyone else get stressed out with the $1.99 shipping fee?

I ended up buying $1100 gift cards for $998.75 (opting for the $8.75 usps tracking). If I trusted my mail carrier, or the people in my urban neighborhood, maybe the $1.99 would work,

Strange that it allowed me to buy $1100, and not just $600….

I tried doing the GC GC with the DGC and it only has let me do it 3 times, if it cancels again, I will wait a day or so to let the system cool off.

There is a field to type in any amount you want up to $500. Since you're getting 10% off and you want to use as much of the $100 giftcard dotcom GC, I was buying $109 DGCs which results in a price of $98.10, plus $1.99 shipping = $100.09, meaning I use the entire $100 giftcard and then have to pay an additional $0.09. But since I have to do 3x transactions, I guess I started to set off fraud alerts for making 2x$270 transactions followed by 3x $0.09 transactions. It might be better to use PayPal and use your bank account for the $0.09 transactions.

Because of the issues I was having, for the last 2x, I just purchased $108 and left $0.81 on the last 2 $100 gift cards.
Ah, got it now. Thanks for the clarification!

The limit per transaction for Disney Gift Cards is $2500 (max $250 off using the GCWEEK10 discount).

However if you're buying the giftcards dotcom "in store" gift card for 10% off first (using promo code GIVEGC10), then you are limited to 3 per transaction and it seems like you can do 2 transactions, so a total of $600. Since giftcards dotcom ONLY sells gift cards, their "in store" gift cards are usable on Disney Gift Cards. So it stacks with the 10% off Disney Gift Card GCWEEK10 promotion.

The easy route is to use the GIVEGC10 promotion for 10% off, plus shipping. Depending on how much you buy and how much you pay for shipping, this should net you somewhere around 9-10% off face value plus whatever credit card rewards and discount you might get from Chase offers (I finally see the giftcards dotcom Chase offer on one of my Chase cards this morning ugh). This is also limited to $2500 per transaction, so it is easy to get a lot of Disney gift cards this way and with very few cards, so less combining.

The more complicated route is to stack the $600 in store GCs and use them to buy DGCs. You pay $1.99 shipping for each ~$109 DGC, but your net savings is about 17.4% off face value before any credit card rewards, Chase offers, etc. You also run the risk of losing one of the gift cards in the mail. It is crazy that they don't sell Disney e-giftcards, I wish they did! You are also limited to ~$650.

Thank you for sharing this idea. I just did a test purchase and that amount worked great. Buying gift cards to buy gift cards and stacking the 10% discount on each is hilarious to me. Never thought of it!

Do we know the loss rate with USPS? I would pay the $8 whatever for tracking, but only if they would bundle everything into one envelope - not doing that 3 times!

I know @4Hawks mentioned this in a quote from slickdeals, but wanted to just add a DP.

I called Lidl today since they didn't respond to my email request (they are probably getting slammed) and they said the issue with the $20 coupon not showing up is a known issue and is impacting a lot of people and they are working on a fix and hoped to have my issue resolved within 7 business days but it would likely be much sooner perhaps in the next few days.

I have previously purchased about 4 DGCs from giftcards dotcom which were shipped via USPS and I received all of them.

I also have purchased from HomeDepot in the past, multiple times and I believe Homedepot uses the same gift card processor and they arrived via USPS with no issue.

It is a risk that they could get lost though.

I subscribe to USPS's free "Informed Delivery" which scans mail pieces and informs you what will arrive each day. It doesn't catch every piece of mail - but it is one way you can keep your eyes peeled for the gift cards and make sure you get to your mailbox right away to get them.

Do you know if we can do this even if we did it back in November? I just tried to order $300 worth of giftcards dotcom "store" cards and my order was cancelled.

Love Informed Delivery! OK so sounds like most loss is delivery in the wrong box or porch pirates so not a huge risk to do the $1.99 delivery?

I have other Chase cards but mostly Biz cards and no Freedom Flex for Paypal. However only one offer for the 5% back. I may just use that for the three GC GCs and then if I want to do more I'll just use my BOA Cash Rewards that basically gets me 5.25% back on my online purchases anyway. I just need to check and make sure I haven't maxed out the 2500 spend yet. I really need to put myself on an austerity budget after this Christmas season!

I bought through the Rakuten app for the 2.5% back. Shouldn’t that work?

I bought $1100 DGC for $998.75 (usps tracking for $8.75) on my chase sapphire (for 5% up to $50 on gift card . com.

Will this work? If it all comes out stacked, that’s like 16%. Way better than my target bonuses.

I love this thread. Everyone is so smart. And frugal.

I'm sorry for not responding sooner but I'm not on the boards as much.

Yes, fantastic stack! A day or two after posting the deal, Rakuten added several more codes and it included Disney. It did not include giftcards .com brand gift cards but that might have changed by now.

Thanks for the community compliments @BaybeeYoda We love having you here!
