New dinning room table is here, now need decorating help

My new table and chairs came in today This is our first "real" table and chairs. I want some opinions on what to put on the top decoration wise. Here are some pictures of the table bare and decorated, sort of. Tell me what you think please. Im the anti Martha Stewart lol

Your new table is pretty. Your decorating looks nice, but if it were mine, I'd put a glass vase with fresh flowers on it. That is all I keep on my table unless we are eating at it, then I whip out a tablecloth! I don't personally like lots of things around and out. Out of sight until needed is my style!

If you wanted something to dress it up, get some chargers and lay your napkins across them. They're big platter-type plates. I think you can get them for a couple of bucks each at Hobby Lobby. I bought two boxes of four silver chargers each for about $9.99 at TJ Maxx for my dining room table. We don't ever use this room, though. We used black leather placemats, then lay a napkin in a napkin holder across each one. We remove the chargers when we need to use the table.
