New dining rules???

We have PS/AR for HDDR for my sons (14 and 11) and myself. We paid for the dinner months ago when we made the reservations.
Do you think that Disney will/can charge me more money now for my 11 year old, considering we've paid for the show already? Can they retroactively do this, or do you think they will honor the agreement we had when the ressies were made?

Typically, once you've paid for something, the terms and conditions are set, so I suspect you're safe with regard to your son. If you have any concern, you may wish to request a confirmation in writing from WDW Guest Communications, P.O. Box 10,040, Lake Buena Vista, Florida 32830.

not charged completely before arrival to the show. Technically, they could raise the price if a person's card has not been charged yet, couldn't they? They could tell the person upon arrival to the restaurant. I still think this is not good at all but wondering if Disney would try to do this? Susan

Last year Disney changed it so that the dinner shows are now paid in full when reserving it

I booked mine for September and paid in full (was on my cc already), then had to change the number from 9 to 11. I called and they cancelled my ressie and rebooked, then refunded my entire first price and charged my cc the second time. Each time I checked my account and everything went through in a couple of days. So they do charge you account immediately and since I booked mine last month, I paid children's price for my 11 year old GS. Of course, anyone who books now will be charged adult prices for 10 and older. Glad I booked when I did.

I kind of doubt that they will give you a hassle but technically you are supposed to give them the ages your kids will be when they are going to be at WDW, not what age they are at the time phoned for the p.s. Someone else may know for sure though.

As I indicated in my original post, he will be 11 at the time we have the dinner. They do not have "children's portions" or a kid's menu, rather it is an all you can eat meal from a set menu.
I still don't have my answer---can Disney retroactively charge me additional fees due to the changes in Disney's age policy, even though I have paid up the full amount (at the time I made the ressies)?

I'm in the same boat. When I made my PS my 11 y/o qualified as a child, and that is what I was charged for on my c/c already. My dd's age is still the same but it's Disney who changed their policy, so I'm wondering also, will they charge me the difference for HDDR when we get there? I guess I'll have to wait and see when we get there.

Disney doesn't offer junior pricing. The age for children's pricing was reduced from 12 to 9 but Disney has never offered junior pricing or portions.
