New Dining Plan & Weight Loss Surgery

Does anyone know about the New Dining Plan & Weight Loss Surgery?
If DH has a LRGB, will our family be able to get the dining plan?
I wouldn't want to pay $35 a day for him to eat less than our 3 year old.
Do you think that they would charge us for a child's dining plan if he shows them some proof? Any suggestions?

Frankly it sounds to me like you'd be better off paying as you go.
